  • Ep. 104 What ghosting really means

Whether you’ve been ghosted, done the ghosting (yep, I see you), or just hate how common it’s become, this episode is for you. I’m calling ghosting out for what it really is—a sign of immaturity, poor communication, and a lack of respect. And no, it’s not just a dating thing. Ghosting happens in friendships, jobs, clients—you name it, it’s everywhere.

In this episode, I walk you through why we ghost, why it feels so awful to be ghosted, and how to break the cycle by communicating like the grown adult you are. I share my own stories (including one of my all-time best one-liners) and remind you that how someone responds to rejection isn’t your responsibility—but how you handle it is.

    Key Takeaways:

    • Ghosting is a sign of immaturity and poor communication, not a "normal" way to avoid confrontation.
    • We ghost because it’s the easier way out, but it’s only going to burn bridges
    • It’s kinder and braver to communicate where you’re at than lead someone on
    • Most of the time, ghosting has more to do with the other person’s baggage than with you personally
    • No response is a response

  • Ep. 102 Why quitters sometimes win

In this episode, I’m challenging the age-old idea that “quitters never win.” Sometimes, quitting is the bravest and wisest choice you can make—and that’s exactly what I unpack in this episode of How To Twenty-Something. I talk about how quitting doesn’t always mean giving up; it can mean choosing yourself, setting boundaries, and making space for something better. As well as when to know if it’s time to walk away and what it looks like to quit with intention, not impulsivity. Whether you’re thinking about quitting a job, relationship, or habit, this episode will help you reflect on what’s serving you—and what’s not.

    Key Takeaways:

    • Why we view quitting as negative
    • Knowing the difference between quitting out of fear vs wisdom
    • How to tell if you’re being challenged or drained
    • The pressure to “stick it out” can keep us stuck in things that no longer serve us
    • Quitting successfully means coming up with a plan for what else is to come

  • Ep. 98 The REAL reasons you procrastinate

This is NOT Your Life on 4/29: https://jessdiamondcoaching.com/noise/

Procrastination isn’t just about laziness—it’s often rooted in fear of failure, perfectionism, or avoiding discomfort. In this episode, I break down why we procrastinate, how it holds us back, and what we can do to overcome it. I share personal experiences, practical strategies, and mindset shifts to help you take action, even when it feels scary. From breaking tasks into small steps to managing time more effectively, I cover simple ways to stop delaying and start doing. The bottomline is, procrastination is normal, but it is most definitely not a habit you want to continue to enforce.

    • Identifying why you’re procrastinating is the first step to overcoming it.
    • Hidden ways you procrastinate that you don’t even realize you’re doing – life events

  • Ep. 96 Online Dating vs Organic Dating

This is NOT Your Life on 4/29: https://jessdiamondcoaching.com/noise/

This episode dives into the differences between organic and online dating, exploring how mindset, expectations, and experiences vary between the two. While online dating offers convenience and clear intentions, it can also be mentally draining due to the sheer volume of options and the paradox of choice. Organic dating, on the other hand, allows for an immediate sense of someone’s energy and removes the pressure of filtering through profiles. Throughout this episode, I share my personal experiences and challenges between the two and how to best navigate dating by knowing your own dating style. Ultimately, whether you meet someone online or in real life, setting clear intentions and being open to different experiences is crucial.

    Key Takeaways:

    • Too many options in online dating can make decision-making overwhelming and lead to the Paradox by Choice
    • Knowing what you want helps navigate both organic and online dating more effectively
    • COMMUNICATION GOES A LONG WAY
    • Don’t forget to take breaks from dating when you’re feeling frustrated
    • Online dating makes dating frequency easier, but organic dating gives you vibes and connection feedback immediately
    • People have different dating styles - know yours and be prepared to date someone who has a different style
