In the first act of his professional career, Ty Brady was enjoying life. He and his wife starting their young family. At the time, Ty was making great money with a rewarding career in construction. But that all changed when the crash of 2008 happened. In his own words, he said "I lost everything." He found himself unemployed and forced to move his family into his parents' home. He was defeated.

Struggling to make ends meet, he worked odd jobs like hanging Christmas lights and installing fences just to put food on the table. His story could have ended right there. But eventually, while working another odd job, he was introduced to the insurance industry. For the next two years, he was was on the road and learning the trade trying to make things happen. There were some nights when he would ask himself if it was worth it, but a defining moment between him and his daughter would propel him to do bigger and better things.

His story can truly be made into a movie that inspires thousands of people to believe in themselves and to never give up:

"One of the hardest things that ever happened is: So I lose everything. And I'm like, 'Okay, what are we going to do?' And my wife had to move in with my parents lived there for four years, (and whoever wants to go three kids go back and live with their parents, right?) But one of the defining moments is when my daughter (she's 19 now) and she came to me and she says, 'Daddy, when can we move back into our old house?' And, you know, everybody has a defining moment in their life, that he has to drive them. And my wife kind of attacks me occasionally, she's like, you can't reflect on that. But it's not that I reflect on that, that's when everything changed for me." Ty Brady

Kirk Cooper, the founder of Ecom Automation Gurus, is on How Winners Win.

After long days of teaching, that often led into the evenings coaching, he didn’t get to spend the time he wanted with his family. Let alone he was having to make furniture or work school events to make a little extra money. In his own words: “I just felt like I was caught up in the rat race! I was tired of trading so much of my time for an hourly dollar value. I was trading time for money…” Sound familiar?

In the spring of 2016, he learned about the opportunities of making money on Amazon. Day after day, he would burn the midnight oil learning, strategizing, and perfecting the art of selling online. He struck gold when his amazon store started making $45-50k a month! (BTW, he made his first million while still teaching high school and coaching track).

He was so successful at ecommerce that he worked himself into a corner.
