What do you get when you add vampires, Billy Idol hair, the two Coreys and one, half-naked saxophone player? You get the 1987 cult film The Lost Boys which may or may not suck.

“Who can cut your guts out and gouge you with a hook?” the Candyman can, but this one isn’t Willy Wonka; this one is sweet, sweet vengeance. This week we talk about the direct sequel (new canon) to the 1992 film of the same name.

Our second Halloween film of 2021 is The Wolf of Snow Hollow, which is written, directed, and starring Jim Cummings of Thunder Road fame (He’s possibly the Best Boy and Key Grip as well). This has been on Scott’s list since its release and Kris says, “it’s like a made for TV movie from a time before all movies were made for TV.” Also, can you/should you judge people based on their favorite Tarantino movie?

From the director (Fede Álvarez) that brought you the kill fest that was Evil Dead (2013) comes a story about a man so blind, he can't see the plot holes in the script. We're talking movies; we're talking the 2016 movie Don't Breathe. Scott says, "see it," Kris says, "don't," but they both say check out this episode.

In the 1975 and 1976 Formula 1 series, two titans of racing clashed: Niki Lauda and James Hunt. In 2013 the redheaded kid from Happy Days made a movie about it, and in 2021 two more champions (Scott and Kris) talked about it on a podcast. We’re talking movies; we’re talking one of Kris’s favorite movies; Rush.

On this week’s show, we talk about a film that needs no introduction (or at least a John Williams score that doesn’t need one); Jaws. The first hit from director Steven Spielberg, this Oscar-winning movie created the summer blockbuster, got us out of the water and your position on it will decide if you’re in Scotts will.  It's Psycho with a shark in true Hitchcockian style; more thriller than horror

This week were talking Brandon Cronenberg’s (son of famed Canadian director David Cronenberg (The Fly, History of Violence)) body horror film; that was so violent that Kris had to look away. This film is uber Canadian, from the director (Brandon: Toronto), Cinematographer (Karim Hussain: Ottawa) the cast (Rossif Sutherland: Vancouver) and the location (Toronto). Scott says if you like this movie check out Self/less 2015 with Mr. Canada himself Ryan Reynolds.
