“Everyone wants to be normal, but no one wants to be ordinary.” (although this film sure as S..T would kill to even be ordinary.)

How does a movie with Kate Beckinsale, Stanley Tucci, Laverne Cox, Jai Courtney and Bobby Cannavale fall apart so so badly?

Kris may think Jolt is “Unwatchable” but the podcast about it isn’t. (Ya ya we know you don't watch podcasts, well unless you check out our YouTube channel :P)

This week Scott and Kris are talking the 1999 box office bomb The Thirteenth Warrior and unpack how something so right went so so wrong.

Don’t throw away your shot (at stopping gentrification). On this week’s show Scott and Kris talk the new musical film by Lin-Manuel Miranda; In the Heights. Is it as good as Hamilton? What about Chicago and does Bill Maher have anything relevant to say anymore?

On this week's show, a call to action from Scott; “Casting directors, writers and DOPs, stop over-sexualizing Chris Hemsworth, there are buttons on a shirt for a reason... think about his dad bod 10 years from now”.

This week Scott and Kris are talking movies, they’re talking Mahoney, Tackleberry, and Justin Trudeau’s dad? They are jumping back to the raunchy comedy that started a franchise, and as the Stone Cutters from the Simpsons sang “Made Steve Guttenberg a star".

“Like Michael Apted in his Seven Up! documentary series, Linklater makes you feel as if you're watching a photograph as it develops in the darkroom.” (Chris Nashawaty, Entertainment Weekly). 12 years is a long time to shoot a movie, and both Scott and Kris think you should spend the two hours and forty-five minutes to see it.

On this week’s episode, Scott and Kris talk Tim Burton's classic gothic fairy tale, Johnny Depp jumping from Jump Street to the big screen, and Kris’s sad sad childhood in the 80s.

We can all admit 2021 sucks so far (thanks stupid COVID), but what doesn't suck is some of the movies coming out later this year. In this episode Scott and Kris go back and forth over the five films they cant wait for. If you have been listening, we're sure you can guess which one has Kris willing to risk a plague to see in a theater. #KennyLoggins

Better Call (Psycho) Saul: Nobody 2021 is part David Cronenberg’s A History of Violence, part John Wick and part Mr. Rogers Neighbourhood. Bob Odenkirk, who played Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad is transformed into a mild-mannered, lean mean killing machine in this film written by John Wick franchise creator, Derek Kolstad. Watch as Odenkirk teams up with RZA and Christopher Lloyd to tear up the Russian Mob and the streets of Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada.
