  • Se02Ep08: The Wolfpack win! And the world shuts down...
    It's taken 7 games this season but the Toronto Wolfpack have finally secured their first win of the season beating early season high flyers, Huddersfield Giants, in a comprehensive showing during Round 5 of the Challenge Cup!
    COVID-19 not only shuts down the world but all levels of Rugby League in the UK as well with the RFL electing to suspend the Super League season until April 3rd at which point it's anyone's guess as to the future of the 2020 season and the long-term impacts on clubs across the leagues.
    But before the competition suspension there was one final round of Challenge Cup & Super League competition as St. Helens are defeated for the 3rd time in 6 games and Salford come back to beat Wigan late in the game.
    In general news Hull FC sack head coach Lee Radford immediately following their loss to Warrington. And, despite the pandemic sweeping through the world of sports, the NRL continue to operate, for now, playing behind closed doors from Round 2 onward. You can catch all the action on the Watch NRL app.
    Lastly, with the competition suspended, Rob & Gareth plan to bring on a number of guests to fill the void left in our lives with no games on TV, beginning with prominent Wolfpack fan, Nicholas Mew. Check out that special episode later this week!
