Hozier’s 2024 took a delightfully unexpected turn when his ‘Unheard’ EP - made up of four unreleased tracks from his 2023 album ‘Unreal Unearth’ - spawned his first US number one song with “Too Sweet”.

It managed to surpass his 2013 mega-hit, “Take Me To Church”, which topped out in the number two position. He spoke with Nick Major about this year’s chart-topping track that almost didn’t see the light of day and dives into the significance of the titles to his latest album and the two EPs that have since followed. The most recent being ‘Unaired’, which was released back on August 16, 2024.

When it comes to the downtime and he’s not playing sold out tours around the world or writing hit songs, Hozier spends much of his time at home in Ireland tending to his bees. Yep, he became a beekeeper during the COVID lockdowns and is still at it.
