When it comes to the downtime and he’s not playing sold out tours around the world or writing hit songs, Hozier spends much of his time at home in Ireland tending to his bees. Yep, he became a beekeeper during the COVID lockdowns and is still at it.
He tells the story of how an unexpected gift led him down the path of beekeeping and nerds out about just how fascinating they are. From how to make honey, keeping them warm in the winter and the difference between the hardworking female bees & useless male bees… you might just learn a thing or two about the winged insects!
