Mempf and Teclis take a look at the latest game by Hungry Planet Games, Astroloco: First Worst Contact. This is the latest in a series of unrelated adventure games made by our good friend Dante the Jedi and the rest of the Hungry Planet Games team. Join Mempf, Teclis, Prophet and Psycho as we take the nanosuit to MAXIMUM AWESOME! This will be a start to finish marathon of the Crysis 3 game on PC on the Post-Human-Warrior difficulty with minimal edits. We are using a higher video quality than ever before (some HD version files may get quite large). We are also using a new audio capture method to increase the game audio quality and with some luck the voice-over quality as well.

A side project I have been working on is a play through of Xenosaga Episode 1: Der Wille zur Macht for the PS2 in the emulator we used for the Kingdom Hearts Marathon, PCSX2. Originally planned for WorldGone Awry to play however this proved impossible given our respective schedules. The marathon starts out a bit rough because of learning curve required to get the game to run properly (it’s much harder than Kingdom Hearts) but things smooth out later on. Most of this marathon has already been filmed and a lot of that was filmed live. With that out of the way if your into space, spaceships, Android, or JRPGs than this marathon is for you!

REAPERS!!! We need Commander WorldGone Awry to get us through this war. The Mass Effect 3 Marathon starts now!

Starring WorldGone Awry, Mempf, Teclis and Nw Striker, we start our long awaited Mass Effect 3 Marathon on PC and bring you guys along for the ride. We plan to film most of this marathon live and it will be archived in HD for you all to download later.

The HPAW episode returns with a brand new game subATOMIC. A game which did not exist at all a week ago and was made by our good friend and HPAW crew, Dante the Jedi and his friend Murray. Made in 72 hours for the Ludum Dare game jam subATOMIC is a point-and-click adventure game with TENS, literally TENS of jokes. So sit back and enjoy Teclis and Mempf take a first ever look at subATOMIC.

The next HPAW project has been decided and filming has begun! Mempf and Teclis will be playing a game start to finish and we will release a new part everyday once we get going! Teclis will be the one playing. We will be using an emulator for ease of capture and quality of video. Although we have done start to finish marathons before this one will be modeled on the Giant Bomb endurance run for scheduling reasons and length of game. The original intent is to not play this live however there may be the occasional live part. Keep an eye on the HPAW twitter for more info.
