WOW this episode started fast, we aren't sure if it was the Red Bull or just the incredible energy Caroline has for people, culture and HR. Caroline talks about "Walks in the Rain" in HR and that we need to be curious in order to ensure we aren't on an island or pushed into a corner, we must go deeper in HR to find opportunities to add value.

Caroline also shared that culture and HR's overall function is a shared responsibility that should seek out accountability once we know and understand the business. Most business challenges have a people component, so how do we collectively problem solve, and what metrics show how we in HR are performing towards that shared goal. 

Caroline sees the pandemic as a gift for those in HR and leadership, "if we look close enough there is a gift for us, allowing us to get back in touch with our PEOPLE on a different level.
