To see positivity, practice looking out for it.
To avoid frustration, take time away to let the pressure subside.
To be more productive, time block your day into workable chunks and give each chunk an assignment.
Spencer Jones and I dive into tons of personal growth topics on this one. Productivity, positivity, inner work, and so much more.
We also dove into the concept of a personal brand inventory. Ask the people around you what stands out about you to them. This helps highlight the strengths that you may not even know you have. Those small things you take for granted.
We ended with this thought: there is always someone watching. You are inspiring someone with your actions today. More than likely they are lurking in the background, but at some point they will come forward and tell you something. They'll want to work with you, refer someone to you, or tell you how you've impacted their life.
And you may never have known until that moment that they were there.

Caleb Nelson hosts the podcast "Naked Sunday" centered around relationships and the need we all have to be seen "as we are".
In today's show we peel back the curtain on happiness, fulfillment and relationships.
We talked about the REAL cost of things. And that we'd better be willing to pay the cost for the things we want.
We talked about Maslow's Hierarchy of needs and how we each strive to level up the zone of safety we're in.
We talked about how our relationships need rules of engagement, so we can keep each other accountable in our behavior.
This was a deep and powerful conversation and I'm thankful I get to share it with you.

Samuel Main is an accomplished world traveler, a business coach, and a fellow podcaster.
We had so much fun talking about some of the MAIN aspects of his life, that we didn't even talk about how he'll be CLIMBING MOUNT KILIMANJARO IN A MONTH!
Yes that's right, today's content is so fantastic that we couldn't find time to chat about climbing the tallest mountain in Africa and fourth highest in the world.
We talk about how world travel changes the way you work at home and how accelerated learning experiences can give you mountains (hehe) of experience in a compressed timeframe.
Wish Samuel good luck on his adventure on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/coachsamuelmain/

Chuck Cooper gets paid to network.
After seeing his parents decline he knew he needed to keep his mind sharp and his body active. It changed the way he looked at work and business. It was time for a change.
He knew he'd never fully retire.
So he transitioned his company from being a service provider to a concierge style program. He gets paid to take clients to other solution providers based on the needs of the client.
This has allowed Chuck to settle in to the schedule of his dreams, still allows him to network and grow his business, and allows him to serve his customers and his referral network, many of whom have been close for over 25 years.
Chuck recently released a book, Unprecedented: Building a Multigenerational Business on Trust, Respect, and Valuing People. If you hurry it might still be on sale of 99¢!

"There's no way you're going to be a trainer in this company any time soon."
This quote sounds like gatekeeping. It sounds like someone in a position of power holding our hero back from success.
But context matters.
Because this conversation was spot on.
And those words were coming from a place of love and mentorship.
That conversation was a turning point for Brandon Eastman. He turned his life around, step by step using a system that he now calls "The 5 P's of Self Mastery."
Listen in as we dive into the pillars that make up the bedrock of personal change.

A few years ago Justin Peters made a jump to a new company.
Within weeks he knew he'd made the wrong call, but was determined to serve out his "time", a full year so that he didn't look like a job hopper.
Thankfully, he got the great advice to leave the job and decided to spin it into a positive.
Justin took a sabbatical and dove head first into something that he may not have done otherwise: podcasting.
He asked a friend to be his first interview before he even knew the ins and outs of podcast hosting.
He got more done in the six days leading up to the interview than he had the previous eight months.
That's the power of commitment.

The salons of 17th and 18th century Europe emerged as intimate gatherings of diverse thinkers who exchanged ideas freely outside the constraints of formal institutions and hierarchies.…
HR.Salon carries this tradition into our modern professional context. Just as historical salons fostered movements that shaped culture and politics, we believe our conversations can meaningfully influence the evolution of workplace practices and human resources philosophy.
