On Sunday evening Jamie Mulvaney spoke on John 1:1-14 on Jesus the Word of Life and the Light of the World who shines in the darkness.

On Sunday morning at our Family Carols service, our special guest Professor Potions together with Felix Stevenson explored the true meaning of Christmas and what makes it go with a bang. We learned how it is Jesus coming into the world as a helpless baby that is the true reason for the season and is the light of the world that can never be overcome by the darkness.

On Sunday Jago Wynne spoke on 1 John 1:1-4 and how the phrase "I stand with" best represents the joy we have at Christmas. God stands with us as those He created. And if He stands with us, then we can know a feast of joy at Christmas and not just a crumb of joy. Will we now stand with God?

On Sunday evening Tim Jones spoke at our Carols on the Common service about the joy of Christmas and how Jesus came into the world at Christmas to make a way for us to know God.

On Sunday morning Natalie Jones spoke on Luke 19: 1-10 on Zacchaeus the Tax Collector. Natalie spoke on how, although we can sometimes feel inadequate and inferior, Jesus is interested, is interruptible and is invitational, and being with Jesus is incredible.

On Sunday evening Josh Moxon spoke on Luke 24:36-43 on a meal of promise. As Jesus appeared to His disciples and shared a meal with them, He gave them the promise of peace, the promise of His presence and the promise of power in their lives. The same promises extend to us as Jesus' disciples.

On Sunday morning Tim Jones spoke on Luke 24:36-43 on how Jesus appears to His disciples and shares a meal with them. Tim spoke on how Jesus' resurrection has been promised prophetically, preached in power and publicly proven, and now Jesus' resurrection means the promise of our resurrection.

On Sunday evening Anthony Buck spoke on Luke 24:7-38 on A Meal of Salvation. As Anthony looked at the Last Supper, he spoke on how Jesus wants to share a meal with us; how Jesus longs to share His kingdom with us and through us; and Jesus longs to share this meal of salvation with us tonight.

On Sunday morning we continued our series on Food for the Soul, this week looking at A Meal of Salvation. Jamie Mulvaney spoke from Luke 22:7-38 on the Last Supper, how it is a foretaste of the heavenly banquet to which everyone is invited and that Jesus is the host of this meal.

On Sunday evening Felix Stevenson spoke on Luke 14:1-24 on the parable of the Great Banquet as part of our series on Food for the Soul. Felix gave 4 character portraits of people who were at the meal with Jesus and how, to come through the narrow door, we need to look not to ourselves but to Jesus.
