Then we head west to San Francisco to hear the Golden Gate Band, the oldest continuous park bands in the country. The Eagle (Rock) has landed! Chris and Allan are back this week with episode 7, and this one is packed with rich and colorful history. First were off to Locke, the first town founded by Chinese immigrants. Then, were heading south to Banning where Huell visits a group of Cahuilla bird dancers. Finally we find our main man Huell putting out smoke rings at the Vista Threshing Bee and vintage engine museum. This episode truly is California(s) Gold!

Toot on a Flute in a Suit! Were back in Los Angeles and Huell is flyin' all over the city in episode 6. First he stops off at LAX to visit the Theme Building, then visits the oldest "building" at UCLA, then off to Grand Central Market, and ending it all with the last remaining grapefruit tree in Downtown LA. Then on to the Santa Cruz Surfing Museum which is in a LIGHTHOUSE! Then we follow the hearse to meet up with the surf rats. Finally meeting up with Jack O'Neill, the inventor of the surfing wetsuit! The finer you grind her, the hotter she gets ... Horseradish that is! This week finds Huell and Luis visiting the Northern and Southern most towns in our state. First we attend the Tulelake Horseradish Festival up near the Oregon border where Huell finds some good product. Then we head 1,200 miles south to the town of Calexico on the Mexican border and pay a visit to a canal, an editor, and a bullfighter. This adventure stretches many miles and Allan and Chris stretch there tastebuds to the limit with some raw horseradish.
