It was a pleasure to feature Justin Taylor here on "Human Talk."  I first met Justin while interviewing his metal band "Wolfstar" on my music podcast "indie-vidually."  Justin is a great writer, and a really interesting and all around nice guy.  His stories are not what you'd expect at the end, and I am here for it.  He shares two he wrote here on the podcast, as well as a hilarious one he experienced in real life with a friend.

I had a great in person and socially distanced conversation with an old friend from my childhood, Bo Davis.  Bo has been on "Human Talk" several times, in fact, even being the guest on the first episode I posted.  He recently moved to the city I live in, Lexington, Kentucky, and I had to have him in the studio.  We discuss many interesting topics, but mainly dabble in nihilism, applied philosophy, finding your own personal truths, and he shared some cool news involving the publishing of some poems he has written.  I was happy to have Bo on the podcast again, and am looking forward to having him on more in the future. 

I'm happy to have my close friend and one of my favorite musicians Mason Henry on for this episode of "Human Talk."  Mason is a band director/music educator, and I thought it would be interesting to interview him about the challenges of teaching kids during a global pandemic, considering the risks of Covid-19, since it is spread through aerosols, and the bread and butter of playing band music is blowing through horns and woodwind instruments.  Mason is a trooper, and I'm proud of him for staying optimistic during this pandemic, and continuing to educate middle schoolers throughout.  Mason loves music, and it is evident, because he lives it.  I have jammed with and known Mason for 9 years and counting, and I can't wait to record another album with him in the future. 

Agriculture is a huge part of your life whether you realize it or not.  Food doesn't just appear on the shelves of your local Kroger just like that.  There's a long, calculated and very arduous process behind every bit of the food that you eat.  Bo Flick, who's no stranger to this podcast, is my guest for this episode with a focus on agriculture, mainly sustainable agriculture.  Bo informs us that there's a lot to the process, goes over some basic history of agriculture in America, and shares about his love for sustainable agriculture, as well as gives some tips for those who might be interested in doing it themselves.  I learned a lot, and you can too, so kick back, relax and enjoy the following conversation I had with Bo about sustainable agriculture. 

I'm happy to welcome back Crystal Jewell to the show.  She was my second featured guest right after I started the podcast back in March.  Crystal is studying cognitive psychology and neuroscience at Iowa State University, and I have to say, she is in to some really cool stuff that I am as well.  In this episode, we talk in depth about Shamanism, Animism, consciousness, etc.  Crystal had a lot of interesting things to share, as well as some deep insights about the nature of life itself.  I felt smarter after having spoken to her, and that's not a joke! 

Out of all the episodes I have done since I started "Human Talk" back in March, the ones dealing with the paranormal and UFO's have been, and continue to be, my most listened to episodes.  Since it's Halloween, and people, myself included, love this stuff, I present to you the Halloween Paranormal Special.  John Granstaff, who I had on the podcast back in the spring, dropped the names of two guys that he is on a paranormal investigating team with.  The team is "War Party Paranormal South," and the dudes are Eric Vanderlaan and Tim Arnwine.  Both told some very compelling and interesting stories, but Eric focused most of his talking on the tech side of paranormal investigating, and Tim spoke about his book he released this year called "Ghost Hunting: Getting Started."  

This is the last episode of the "3 Favorite Movies" series.  For this one, my guests are Bo Flick and Raynoldo Ayala, who are no strangers to the podcast.  This one turned out to spark some very deep conversations, as well as some funny and honest moments.
