In today’s episode Jess goes on a little rant/ramble! She is thrilled to have moved back into her family home in Toronto after a 3 month crazy stay in Vancouver. Jess had an epiphany about the insane importance of being yourself after swiping on the dating app Bumble and talking to a few guys, this time leading with the fact that she has a podcast! Human to Human is something that is so close to Jess' heart she does have a fear of others knocking her down and judging her for it. However, the opportunities that have arisen after putting herself out there in a vulnerable way have been incredible. So... she felt called to tell you about it. Christopher Rowe is a 22 year old guy who grew up in Shelbourne, Ontario with his single mom and younger brother, Stephen after his dad was tragically killed in a car accident when he was 5. After a night out with the boys in mid February Chris goes home with a girl he met at the bar and his whole night takes a turn for the worst. Chris gets assaulted by an angry ex-boyfriend and takes immediate action to defend himself. A video of Chris looking beat up and bloody from that night was posted on Tik Tok and quickly blew up receiving 2.3 Million views over the course of a couple weeks. Chris comes on Human to Human today to explain how the night unraveled and what his life was like leading up to this event.

Following the assault Chris has taken an interested in boxing, muay thai & jui jitsu. He is incredibly grateful for his family and friends and the consistent love and support he has received throughout his life. Chris is a Sport Administration & Public Relations graduate at Georgian College in Barrie planning on taking Sport and Event Marketing at George Brown in the fall. He is passionate about sports, fitness and partakes in gold and soccer in his free time.

In today's episode Jess chats with her first year roommate Dana all about the long journey she went through to find therapy. Dana is a student in second year at Ryerson studying child and youth care studies with the plan of becoming a teacher. Dana began struggling with anxiety and depression in middle school and talks us through the different ways she tried to cope before finding Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
