Notes:

Suffering is experienced by sinner, saint, and Savior.

Satan used sin to bring suffering. God used suffering to bring salvation.

1. There are reasons to fear, but there is a greater reason not to. Acts 27:23-24

2. If you lose the ship, you will not drown.

When our resources fail, our Source is faithful.

Acts 28:10 They also honored us in many ways; and when we departed, they provided such things as were necessary.

Acts 28:11 After three months we sailed in an Alexandrian ship whose figurehead was the Twin Brothers, which had wintered at the island.

God’s provision is not only in abundance but also in providing for necessities.

3. If this storm didn’t affect you, show unusual kindness to those whom this storm has affected. Acts 28:2

4. When you can’t control what you are feeling, control you feeding. Acts 27:33-37

Spiritually nourish your soul with taking bread (Scripture reading) and giving thanks (prayer).

Quarantine is a state, period, or place of isolation in which people or animals that have arrived from elsewhere or been exposed to infectious or contagious disease are placed.

1. GOD IS ABLE TO DELIVER US

“Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead, who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us,” 1 Corinthians 1:9-10 

2. DELAYED DELIVERANCE SHOULDN’T DERAIL OUR DEVOTION

“But If Not” faith. 

Faith is a bridge over troubled waters but “But If Not” faith is the path through them. 

Sometimes God delivers you from fiery furnace; other times He makes you fireproof.

“Faith doesn’t deny a problem’s existence. It denies a problem a place of influence.” - Bill Johnson 

3. WHILE IN THE QUARANTINE 

A. Don’t be alone.

B. Get loosed, not bound. 

C. Don’t just sit, walk in the midst of fire.

D. Jesus is with you.

E. God will show His glory through your story.

We Christians make permanent decisions and temporary situations.

Churches don’t don’t teach spiritual warfare, but when I went to a Satanic Church, the first ting they taught was demonic spiritual warfare.

The devil understood that if he could fragment the family, he had the upper hand.

Hell is a real place, it has an address.

God works with people who are a work in progress.

People lay on tombs of dead men and women of God who had anointing, and think they will take the anointing.. yet all they’ll take is a demon.

Many people come to church and cheat on God, compromise, come late, and are powerless.. and they call themselves Christians.

I hate religion, I love people.

Religion is straight from Hell.

Let’s be real, we must wake up.

Hell is the absence of Jesus Christ

Heaven is the presence of God.

Some people will never go to Heaven, because God will not be mocked. Not because God isn’t merciful— but because you will never turn.

When you make a commitment to God, you’ll be compelled to never go back.

God invested in you, He wants a good return.

You prepare for the Coronavirus and don’t even prepare for the Coming of Christ

1. If God brought you to it, He will bring you through it.

2. God did not bring them to drown them but to drown the enemy.

3. Red Sea will not drown you but cleanse you.

4. If God doesn’t give you a boat (like disciples), fish (like Jonah), power to walk on it (like Jesus), strength to swim through it (like Paul), he will make a way where there is no way.

5. If you fight fear, God will fight for you.

Grind = #nodaysoff. Grace = takes a day off

1. A poor work ethic.

2. Religious rules.

3. Observing a sabbath day without a sabbath heart.

4. A pharaoh-phone.

5. Resting from work instead of resting for your work.

6. Stimulants instead of sabbath.

Zack continued the sermon series, "Embrace Grace" he spoke on how we are all born short and in order to grow we must keep trusting Jesus for true life transformation.

1. TRYING (when you try to reach God on your abilities)

A. We are all born short.

B. We can’t change.

C. Don’t join the “crowd” in your attempt to reach Christ.

2. TRUSTING (climb on the tree)

A. Religion is you trying to see God. Gospel is trusting Jesus.

B. Trust what Jesus did, instead of trying to do better.

C. Jesus called him a Zacchaeus (which means in original language, “pure, innocent”), people called him a sinner. 


3. TRANSFORMATION (when you bring Jesus home with you)

A. Don’t leave JESUS where you met him.

B. Don’t focus on changing, focus on hosting Christ.

C. “Christian life is not changed life, it’s an exchanged life.” Watch Man Née

Pastor Vlad continued #EmbraceGrace series with powerful message about how the cross of the Jesus is the foundation of the Pentecost of the Holy Spirit. This message will glorify Jesus and draw you closer to the Holy Spirit.

Sermon Notes:

The Spirit came when it was dark but the Holy Spirit moved after the Light came (Genesis 1:2-3; John 8:12; John 1:1).

My relationship to Holy Spirit might be based on crisis. Holy Spirit’s relationship with me is based on Christ.

Dove came out of the ark, Holy Spirit comes after the redemptive work of the cross (Genesis 8:11).

Dove is mentioned 3 times in the story of Noah

First time - no rest (Old Testament)

Second time - olive leaf (New Testament)

Third time - never came back (church age)

“There are nine main feathers on the left and right wings of the dove. He pointed out that there are also nine gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:7-10) and nine fruits of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22-23). There are also five main tail feathers on a dove, which can represent the fivefold ministry gifts of apostles, prophets, pastors, evangelists and teachers (Eph. 4:11). The tail feathers of a dove are like the rudder of a ship—they assist in balance and direction in flight, just as the fivefold ministry gifts in the church bring balance to the body of Christ.” Leonard Ravenhill

Dove descends on the Lamb (Matthew 3:16)

Pentecost after the Cross (John 7:39). Spirit is given when Christ is glorified.

Sin made me a tomb. Savior made me a temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). The cross didn’t just prepare a place for me in heaven, it prepared me to be a place for the Holy Spirit.

Fellowship of the Spirit follows grace of Jesus and love of God. Holy Spirit’s relationship with you rests on the grace of Jesus. It’s communion of the Holy Spirit, not communion with the Holy Spirit. Fellowship is his gift to us as grace is Jesus’ gift to us.

Communion be with you all, it’s for everyone not just the elite as the grace is.

Pastor Vlad hits the nail on the head this week when we dive into the grace of God and how he views us.

In Egypt, he was a lamb to get them saved.


In wilderness, he was serpent to get them sanctified.

He paid for my sin as a lamb.

He became my sin as a serpent.

He redeemed me as a lamb.
He made me righteous as a serpent.

2 Corinthians 5:21

Jesus didn’t become sin by sinning, so you don’t become righteous by right deeds.

I become righteous the same way Jesus became sin!

Human righteousness is filthy rags “the cloths a woman uses during her menstrual period” Isaiah 64:6

Promises for the Righteous: — Ephesians 6:14

Blessed are the hungry for it (Matthew 5:6)

Things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33)

Bold as lion (Proverbs 28:1)

God delivers (Psalms 34:19)

Gets up (Proverbs 24:16)

Not shaken (Psalms 112:6)

Not forsaken (Psalms 37:25)

Reign in life (Romans 5:17)

God looks at me based on what I’m wearing not on what I’ve done!


Jacob wore brothers clothes and received blessing by lying.

voice was different, but clothes were same!

Change does not happen by works but by looking!

Pastor Ilya spoke a powerful message on the power of flight or fight, and how life is a battle field and only serious the minded have a chance of victory.

Notes:

Life does not give participation trophies.

Anything worth having must be fought for. The only thing that is free is cheese in the mouse trap.

We don't treasure things that we get free regardless of how expensive they are. My jeans story

There are 2 types of struggles

Struggle as a slave in bondage

Struggle as soldier for promise land

The difference between the two is one requires mental focus and determination and the other is mentally idol.

Four Stages of Fighting

1. God is fighting for us:

In this stage all you need is Desire and obedience to his plan.

2. Fighting to stay alive:

In this stage God is developing trust in Him and His process

In this place you are:

Out of the familiar and in the unknown.

Taken a step of faith but facing serious challenges

Not in bondage anymore but not it the promise land yet.

Left old bad friends but didn’t get good new friends yet.

Started business with big great plans for the future but its not going according to the plan

Like gold is refined in the fire so you are purified as you go through trials and test

Trust God that started a good work in you He will bring it to completion

This stage is of your life is not to kill and bury you in this desert.

This stage is where the most dreams die because of negativity and complaining.

3. Fighting for the promise land

In this stage God wants to reveal your identity and authority

This season God works on your mindset

In these season you beginning to see small victories and light at the end of the tunnel.

By the time you enter this stage it’s easy to get to be tired and exhausted and settle for only a portion of your dream.

Keep on pushing forward.

4. Fighting in the promise land

In this stage you enter into dominion

It’s a place where you go from blessed to being a blessing

You go from being saved to bringing salvation to others

Where you go from business owner to raising up others in business (teaching, mentoring, writing books, producing a content)

Israel goes into the promise land and chooses to settle - their children fight for the rest of their existence

You are not saved from fighting, you were saved for fighting.
