Todd Mead is a well rounded and very successful public land hunter from the Adirondacks in New York, who mastered killing mature bucks in one of the hardest areas in the country to do so, and then started hunting the public land of the Midwestern states with his bow, harvesting many trophies in his travels.

In this episode I sit down with Tommy Motyka to discuss why he enjoys bowhunting over gun hunting, bowhunting strategies, his successful season this year and life in general. Enjoy!
Chris Alberini stops by my garage with a huge buck he killed earlier that day and we talk about how he killed the buck of a lifetime while answering natures call. I rough taped the buck at 195 inches, but I am not a professional scorer. I would imagine the final official gross score will be between 190 and 200 inches. Congrats to Chris on a great buck!
In this episode I record a podcast while driving up to Vermont deer camp and talk about the outlook and what I'm hoping to do. Then I recorded part 2 on November 19th, a week after the Vermont deer opener and talk about Scotland, Aaron's and my Vermont camp bucks. Then I finish with an update about the Massachusetts season and rut activity. Enjoy!
I sit down with Joe Pitruzello from Northeast Taxidermy Studios in Middletown, CT to discuss his passion for taxidermy, being an artist, and why his business is so successful. Then I give an update on how the season has been going since I shot that 8pt the first week, before my son cuts me a little short waking up from a nap. Enjoy!
Tyler Forbes joins us to tell us the story of Daggers, an incredible 8 point buck he has been targeting for the last 3 years. Tyler has gone from a complete novice in hunting starting only 3 years ago, to being one of the most dedicated hunters I know. He has made incredible strides in his first 3 years of hunting and you can as well if you are willing to work hard like he has!
