Fi: Lumi peitti Suomenlinnan merenlinnan kuin valkea peitto.
En: Snow covered Suomenlinna, the sea fortress, like a white blanket.

Fi: Kylmä talvituuli puhalsi, ja meri kuohui synkästi ympärillä olevien muureiden juurella.
En: The cold winter wind blew, and the sea surged darkly at the foot of the surrounding walls.

Fi: Aino, Eero ja Olavi astelivat varovasti jäisellä polulla, joka johti linnan syvimpiin sokkeloihin.
En: Aino, Eero, and Olavi walked cautiously on the icy path leading to the deepest labyrinths of the fortress.

Fi: Aino, matkan johtaja, kääri kaulahuiviaan tiukemmin.
En: Aino, the leader of the journey, wrapped her scarf tighter.
