94L well on its way to becoming a tropical depression as it heads towards the eastern Caribbean.

Meanwhile, the east Pacific remains quite active but there are no immediate threats to land areas.

A quite complex pattern has set up out in the tropical Atlantic that is making it difficult to really know what to expect regarding the series of tropical disturbances that we see lined up off the coast of Africa. It does appear, however, that some impacts will eventually be felt in the Lesser Antilles as these disturbances move generally westward with time.

We're also watching the east Pacific which too has several systems to monitor but none that look to have impacts to land anytime soon.

The tropical Atlantic has three area to monitor over the coming days but none look to become much of an issue as conditions are only marginally conducive for development right now. However, this is a sign of what's ahead and I expect that the latter portions of August and into September will be very busy as a much more favorable pattern begins to take shape.
