This week we are honored to chat with actors Josie Whittlesey and Magan Wiles of Drama Club NYC.  Drama Club provides theater education and programming to incarcerated and paroled youth in New York City, a vastly underserved population with an ever-growing need for rehabilitation and support. As founder/executive director and operations manager respectively, Josie and Magan work tirelessly to make a difference in these children’s lives through the power of self-expression.  They share their experiences starting the company, working in the prison system, and finding some perspective in the world of show business.

This week we’re talking to Canadian actress Victoria Maria!  Victoria is a graduate of the Neighborhood Playhouse, and has worked consistently on-camera since moving to New York in 2009; credits include Investigation Discovery Channel, “Placebo”and “Prince Paradise”(Cannes 2014). This week KC and Ethan are thrilled to welcome two driving forces behind New York’s Shrunken Shakespeare Company, Yvonne Cone and Jennifer Martina.  Shrunken Shakespeare is committed to producing “condensed, unconventional Shakespeare made accessible through multiple performance art genres.”  Past works include “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at a hipster circus, “Two Gentlemen of Verona” at an upper west side lounge, and a gala production of King Lear directed by and starring the great Paul Sorvino (Goodfellas, Law and Order).  Yvonne and Jennifer chat about starting the company, collaborating with a Hollywood legend, and producing their unique brand of site-specific work.
