  • #1 Commit To Lifelong Covenant
Pastor Ken argues that the institution of marriage is under cultural attack and calls believers to return to God's original blueprint for a lifelong covenant. It distinguishes between civil arrangements and sacred covenants, emphasizing that divorce violates the divine union established by God. He challenges husbands to lead spiritually and defines biblical grounds for separation while rejecting secular justifications like no-fault divorce. By anchoring marriage in sacrificial love rather than fleeting emotions, couples can withstand trials and reflect Christ's relationship with the church. Concluding with a call to repentance, hope, and reliance on God's promise-keeping nature to restore marital strength.

  • What A Marriage Is Supposed To Be - Part 1
If you have God's Word… turn with me to Genesis 2. And this morning… I wanna talk about this subject: "What a Marriage Is Supposed to Be." Folks… we live in a world… that has all kinds of opinions about marriage. • Hollywood has an opinion about marriage. • The government has an opinion about marriage. • Your friends have opinions about marriage. • Your parents may have opinions about marriage. • And you certainly have an opinion about marriage. But there is one question… that towers above all the others: What does God say about marriage? Because I wanna tell you something… marriage wasn't man's idea. Marriage was God's idea.

  • Whatever You Say, Dear
Buckle up and wear your steel-toed boots to explore a story that reveals the danger of our impatience with God and the folly of trying to solve his "problems" for him. This past Sunday, Pastor Trey took a brutally honest look at the interaction between an upset wife and a compliant husband from Genesis 16:1-6. This is a sermon that will challenge men and women alike, so prepare your hearts accordingly! • The Gospel and the Fall of Man
(Sunday Service) Genesis 3:1-8: "Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God actually say, 'You shall not eat of any tree in the garden'?" And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden, but God said, 'You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.' " But the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loincloths. And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden."

  • DAY 6 — LOVE IS NOT IRRITABLE
DAY 6 — LOVE IS NOT IRRITABLE.[LOVE RULES THE SPIRIT INSTEAD OF LETTING PRESSURE RULE THE HOME] PROVERBS 16:32 KJV Irritability is often the outward symptom of inward pressure. Biblical love learns to slow down, deal honestly with stress and selfishness, and let the Holy Spirit govern our response before frustration damages the marriage.Irritability is often the outward symptom of inward pressure. • DAY 5 — LOVE IS NOT RUDE
DAY 5 — LOVE IS NOT RUDE. [LOVE SHOWS RESPECT IN THE LITTLE THINGS] PROVERBS 27:14 KJV Love does not excuse rude behavior simply because we are comfortable with our spouse. Biblical love shows respect in our words, our tone, our habits, and our willingness to change anything that unnecessarily irritates or embarrasses the person we love. RESPECT IS LOVE MINDING ITS MANNERS. Rudeness says: "THIS IS JUST THE WAY I AM." Love says: "IF IT HURTS YOU, I'M WILLING TO WORK ON IT." Rudeness demands to be understood. LOVE SEEKS TO UNDERSTAND. Rudeness embarrasses. LOVE HONORS. Rudeness defends itself. LOVE LISTENS. One of the marks of a mature marriage is being willing to ask: "WHAT IS IT LIKE TO LIVE WITH ME?" And then having enough humility to listen to the answer.

  • DAY 4 — LOVE IS THOUGHTFUL
DAY 4 — LOVE IS THOUGHTFUL. [LOVE THINKS BEFORE IT SPEAKS AND NOTICES BEFORE IT IS ASKED] PSALM 139:17–18 KJV Thoughtful love pays attention. It listens carefully, remembers what matters, considers the needs of the other person, and thinks before speaking or acting.THOUGHTFULNESS IS LOVE PAYING ATTENTION. Thoughtless love assumes. THOUGHTFUL LOVE NOTICES. Thoughtless love forgets. THOUGHTFUL LOVE REMEMBERS. Thoughtless love reacts. THOUGHTFUL LOVE THINKS FIRST. Thoughtless love waits to be asked. THOUGHTFUL LOVE TAKES INITIATIVE. One of the simplest ways to strengthen your marriage is to begin thinking intentionally about the person God has given you. Ask yourself today: "WHAT IS GOING ON IN MY SPOUSE'S HEART THAT I NEED TO NOTICE?" Because great marriages do not happen by accident. GREAT MARRIAGES COME FROM GREAT THINKING—FOLLOWED BY LOVING ACTION.
