Yes, we like being admired. Yes, we blush a little when someone notices. But many of us — myself included — have entertained relationships where we were only seen for the external version of ourselves. And let’s be fair — we’ve done it too. We’ve looked at the surface and called it compatibility.
But attraction is not alignment.
That’s why in the song I say:
“Do you see me — I mean the real me?
Not the frame, not the glow…”
Because real connection requires spiritual vision. It requires asking better questions. Not “Do we look good together?” but:
“Does my purpose make sense next to yours?”
Whew, that’s a question that will clear a room.
See, Kingdom relationships don’t compete — they complement. No one has to shrink. No one has to dim. When God joins two people, their callings make sense side-by-side.
