We Want To Hear From YOU!
December 25th wasn’t randomly picked from a divine calendar. The early church intentionally aligned Christmas with a Roman pagan holiday.
Now, don’t get so spiritual that you get stuck on that fact. They were not trying to blend in; they wanted to flip the script. Their goal? Turn a celebration of the unholy into a party for the Holy One. But fast forward, Christians, believers, and children of God have allowed unholiness to reclaim the celebration. It's the RSVPs of believers that have the biggest impact on whether holiness or unholiness is exalted.
Did you know that 90% of adults in the U.S. profess to be Christians, talk about the power of influence, imagine if 90% of the 90% was intentional about reclaiming December 25th to celebrate the birth of a Savior, we have the bandwidth to breathe holiness back into Christmas. But we need to ask ourselves what are we doing individually to contribute to the holiness of the celebration.

It doesn’t take much to put Christ back in Christmas. Read the story of His birth in Luke 2. Pray in His name, have a cake with Happy Birthday Jesus inscribed, acknowledge his birth in your dinner grace, and Sing songs that glorify Him. Teach your children about Him, and let them know Santa and the elf are sidekicks but that Jesus is the reason for the season.
I encourage you, no - I am begging you to invite Jesus into your homes, hearts, and celebrations and add to your traditions. Let’s give Jesus the glory, honor, and praise He deserves. In Isaiah 43:7, the scripture tells us we were created to give Him glory.

We cannot honor the birth of Christ without being committed to the body of the church, without being an active member not who just talk about what they believe, but as members of the body of Christ, members of the church Jesus came to build, is not about talking its about walking out what you profession. Wherever you go, bring joy, elevate peace, talk about the examples of Christ, and maybe even exalt a little humor. These things remind the world that Jesus didn’t come to construct buildings and coordinate services and events; He came to transform lives and its lives that are the soul and the essence of the church.
Let’s bow together this morning, united as His church, in celebratory worship. And as we celebrate the birth of Christ, let’s also celebrate what Jesus built: a community of faith, hope, and love.

Keep your words light. Keep them kind. And if you can’t manage that, it’s okay to keep them to yourself. Speak life—over yourself and others. Offer a compliment, share some encouragement, and remind everyone—including yourself—that God is still working on you and has never, nor will he ever leave your presence.
And let’s not get caught up following the trends of the world, Let your words reflect the authentic you—the version of yourself you want God to see and know.

As you are wrecking your brain trying to figure out what to buy this one and that one for Christmas, I know you all, who love God, are also trying to figure out what you are going to gift Him with as well.
Yes, I know you are thinking hard. What do you give the Creator of the universe? A "World’s Best God" mug just doesn’t seem to cut it, does it?
Well, today I want to talk to you about the magnificent gift God gave us—a gift that keeps on giving in every moment of every day of our lives.
It’s not wrapped in shiny paper, nor does it require batteries or assembly. It’s the gift of free will, a reflection of His incredible love for us. And like the best gifts, it’s one that comes with a purpose.

Prayer is not the last resort; it’s your greatest weapon. As my mom’s story reminds us, prayer shifts atmospheres softens hearts and always works because the One who answers prayer is faithful beyond measure.

“Religion,” by definition, is an organized set of beliefs. Let’s evaluate the word, “organized”, organized by whom? Mankind. See, “religion” is essentially the Word of God, the mandate of God, tweaked by man, infused with prejudices, cultural regulations, hidden agendas, and often practiced without the infusion of the spirit of God.
It’s religion that fuels the atheist, allows unbelievers to be comfortable and finds loopholes for supposed believers. I know you are thinking, what exactly is she saying?
We have been taught that religion is about God when actually religion is man’s spin on the doctrine of God, hence organized beliefs. As if we could or would have the authority to organize any aspect of what God has said, made, or implemented.
If you get nothing else out of this message today, I want you to get this: The Bible is the true and authoritative Word of God, and man was just a vessel used by God to convey His will. There is no inconsistency in the Bible. The Bible aligns with secular accounts of archaeological, scientific and biographical accounts of history. It has not been tainted by man, it has not been altered to pacify the desires, issues or politics of man, and just reading it will provide you confirmation.

Last week, I shared how Thanksgiving, as we know it, echoes biblical roots, particularly the Feast of Tabernacles. Leviticus 23 describes a seven-day celebration of gratitude to God. The point of my previous message was to remove the stigma of Thanksgiving being labeled as “pagan.”
But let’s dive in deeper today.
While the holiday itself isn’t pagan, some of the ways we approach it… can carry a "paganistic" mindset.
