2 Timothy 3:1-5 But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.
Father God in the name of your son Jesus, we come before you today first thank you for waking us up another day, thank you for giving us another day, to serve you another day to be an example on this earth of your good, your majesty, your grace, and your mercy.
Lord, we thank you for your Word for in your Word you told us we would face these times, and your Word has proven over and over to be true and prophetic. In Matthew 5:18 you confirmed, “until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished”
As we approach your throne this morning, know that your Word is true, all we can do is humble our hearts, renew our minds and ask that you steer and guide us, give us a spirit of discernment, and let us not become consumed to the ways of this world. Let us seek truth over popularity, “celebritism”, money, and fame. Let us not walk in a spirit of selfishness, guard our tongues that we do not speak a slanderous word again another for we know all souls were created engraved with your divine destiny, we respect and humble all that you create and every purpose you have laid out in your plans.
Lord and every household and family represented under the sound of my voice, Lord I ask that you bless, protect, cover, exalt, and elevate in your purpose. Anything that is not of your will working against the households and families represented, we ask that you take control of it, shift the atmosphere in each home to align with your will and your purpose, and let praise to you oh God be the paint on their walls, let humility be rooted in the floors they walk on and let the Holy Spirit consume the water they bathe and drink, align each household with your Kingdom.
We give you glory, we give you honor we give you praise. And we thank you in advance for your continued protection, direction, grace, mercy, and blessing. Amen Amen and Amen
Thank you for joining us in prayer this morning, I pray you “deem” this prayer worthy of sharing, for we all need to get back to the basic principles of the righteousness of God.

The bait of Satan involves us giving into offenses and begin exalting an attitude of being easily offended so that those with wisdom shy away from offering wisdom and so that we turn a deaf ear to the words of wisdom.

A story broke some time ago in regards to a coach being reprimanded for praying on the 50-yard line at the conclusion of a football game. The supreme court ruled in the coach's favor citing that he had a religious right to pray. And I thank God for this ruling and that no further reprimand was bestowed upon the coach.
However, yes we as believers should be happy that another believer was persecuted for the act of praying, but we also need to use what He went through as a lesson, for us to do better, be better and elevate our exaltation of faith.
As believers, we cannot allow ourselves to become so consumed with human rights that it overrules the righteousness of God. Proverbs 14:12 “ There is a way which seemeth right unto man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” The coach praying, believers saw no problem with it, saw no reason for ridicule or reprimand, but there is further consideration we as believers must consider.
The righteousness of God doesn’t discriminate and the gift of free will given to every man and woman by God allows people to even choose to sin against God, blasphemous, not believe, or even curse God. Yes, there are consequences for the action and reactions we choose that violate the mandate of God but the choice is still extended to all mankind.
What I am saying is if our government, institutions, and organizations allow Christians to pray, then they have to allow everyone regardless of their religious beliefs pray, and even worship. Some of you, like myself, were raised to pray, and not shield it publicly, and I get it, however, when others are involved we have to according to the righteousness of God consider others. Philippians 2:4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests but also to the interests of others.
Now we are not to bow to the interests of unbelievers or this world but we must be aware of the interest of other and take into consideration that God extended unbelievers that same free will he extended us. 1 Peter 2: 4-6 As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
As believers, God takes us from glory to glory and as we grow in our faith we should be also growing in our wisdom and how to strategically combat the ways of the wicked recognizing that the wicked will attempt to use the ways of the righteous to exalt wickedness.
But we serve a God who knew these times would come and His Word prepared us for this. In Matthew chapter 6, the Word of God advises us not to get caught up praying publicly because it does not validate or strengthen our faith or prayers. In verse 6 “when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you”

Sometimes I think we forget how big, bold, and powerful God is and it affects our prayers, how we move, how we act and react to situations, and even how we worship. BIBLICALLY SPEAKING POLITICALLY SERIES
This message was not inspired to support or degrade the act of abortion or even women’s rights because both of these issues are minute when compared to the issue of the deity of God and the consistency of Christianity. Because if truth be told you cannot serve God and walk concurrently in hypocrisy, it's impossible and I will explain exactly what I mean momentarily.
Today, my message is not for those struggling with their faith, or who don’t know whether they believe in God or not. If either of these descriptions fit you, I welcome you to listen and I promise you will be edified. But I will be primarily talking to those who say they believe in God, say they have a relationship with God, say they trust in God, say they know him to be all-knowing, omnipresent and all-powerful, and say they know and embrace that God makes no mistakes.
Let me make this perfectly clear: the Bible tells us our bodies belong to God, and according to the Word of God, we will have to give account to God how we use what belongs to Him. But what I want to also make perfectly clear is God doesn’t force Himself, His Doctrine or even His Word on anyone.
In Acts 7:51 you see the scripture reads “You stiff-necked people, uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit. As your fathers did, so do you.”
What is made very clear in that passage is that we have the freedom, so much so that we can opt to even embrace or resist the Holy Spirit, which is in essence God in spirit.
Free will is a gift from God. A gift the all-knowing God knew that we would use to sin against Him. Don’t ever think for one moment, anything ever catches God by surprise and yet He gave us free will as a gift.
We also have to be mindful that anything given to us by God is full of purpose, and should not be violated or compromised. The moment we choose to violate, compromise, taint, alter or tweek the free will of an individual we have essentially promoted our will above the will of God which in itself is ungodly, sinful, and even blasphemous.
I don’t know how many of you are familiar with the opening passage of our constitution, allow me to read it to you;
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
“Liberty” is defined as “the right and the power to believe, act, and express oneself as one chooses. Liberty is being free from restriction and having the freedom of choice. It is the condition of having the power to act and speak without restraints.”Which also relates to the free will given us by God. Because He has put in place His laws, mandates, and commandment, even gave us intuition and gut feeling to gut and jolt the conscientiousness of minds. And God holds us responsible just like our government for our actions and behaviors. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death. Not spiritual death but separation from the joy of life as ordained by, separation from God Himself
Many have asked me, “Pastor how can you be anti-abortion and pro-choice, isn’t that contradictory”. Not at all, we get so caught up in this ride-or-die, all-in mentality concerning everything but the Word of God.
I believe the prevention of life is not the will of God, but I support the choice of a woman based solely on the free-will God gave her.

How would you feel if your spouse told you, “I only married you because I had no other choices?” God doesn’t want us to obey His Word based on the fact that we have no other choices. He wants us to obey His word because despite the available choices, we choose Him.
God wants us to decide to pursue what doesn’t seem to be the easiest route, despite what we think our limitations and abilities are, but because we are in a covenant relationship with Him we walk confidently knowing who He is, knowing He’s got our back, knowing with Him on our side we can face anything, knowing that because of who He is no weapon formed against us will prosper, knowing that what the devil meant for our demise, He has the power to turn it around and work it for our good and His glory.
God is not one who forces His righteousness on us and neither should we force our opinions or even God’s righteousness on another. When we do that we have picked up a mantle God never ordained, when we do that we have stepped outside of the boundary set by the almighty. When we do that we have entered into the sin of judgment.
James 4:12 There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?
Now I don’t want anyone to take this scripture out of context, right is right, wrong is wrong, and sin is sin and someone proclaiming what is wrong and what is a sin is not judging.
“Not judging” addresses the human tendency to take spiritual truth and twist it into hypocritical superiority just as the Pharisees had done. Sometimes our pride makes us criticize and judge others so that we feel better about ourselves.
James warned believers, James 4:11–12 “Don’t speak evil against each other….your job is to obey the law. God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor?”
When it comes to the laws of the land, violating the rights and livelihood of others, every citizen should be held accountable, judged and even suffer the consequences of their violation. But when we start putting place governing laws that cross into the spiritual and personal realms of people we are violating what God has ordained and commissioning ourselves as God.

When everything is going our way, patience is easy to demonstrate. The true test of patience comes when we are treated unfairly; when our coworker derides our faith, again. Some think they have a right to get upset in the face of irritations and trials. Impatience seems like a holy anger. The Bible, however, praises patience as a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22) which should be produced for all followers of Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:14). Patience reveals our faith in God’s timing, omnipotence, and love.
Although most consider patience to be a passive waiting or gentle tolerance, most of the Greek words translated “patience” in the New Testament are active, robust words. Consider, for example, Hebrews 12:1: “Therefore since we also are surrounded with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily besets us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us” (NKJV). Does one run a race by passively waiting for slow-pokes or gently tolerating cheaters? Certainly not! The word translated “patience” in this verse means “endurance.” A Christian runs the race patiently by persevering through difficulties. In the Bible, patience is persevering towards a goal, enduring trials, or expectantly waiting for a promise to be fulfilled.

Today’s message kind of piggybacks off of yesterday's message on faith vs. belief. And maybe it’s just me. But aren’t you all just sick and tired of all the foolishness we are having to contend with in the world.
The biggest thing I believe is causing so much frustration and stress is all of this talk about the coming of a depression. Tell me this, why are those who claim to be in a relationship with God worried about depression.
If prices go up, is our God not able to increase our income, and increase His favor to cover the difference. I am telling, we have God looking at us shaking His head, amazed at how quickly we allow the world, unbelievers and situations to prompt us to lose faith in Him.
Why is it we are so enthralled with the word, “depression”. Depressions have been occurring since biblical days, they were called famines. But after every famine those who walked with faith in God came through the days of famine better than they were when the famine started and you know why because it's in times of famine, times of depression, when more prayers are lifted, when all we can put our trust in is God.
Globally we just came through a pandemic. Although many lives were lost in our country, citizens of this nation, if truth be told, didn’t rely on God to pull them through to be their provision, they leaned on the government for all kinds of stimulus provisions. That is blatantly clear because threw all that we went through this nation, or none the renowned religious leaders called for a day of prayer.
And you all are surprised, or disgruntled because we now are looking in the face of depression. During the time of King Ahab, “the famine was severe in Samaria” (1 Kings 18:2). It’s no coincidence that Ahab had previously “set up an altar for Baal in the temple of Baal that he built in Samaria. God had been crystal clear concerning His law which says if they served false gods, then there would be famine in the land. Ahab, like this nation has, bowed to false gods, and God allowed a famine to plague the land during the reign of Ahab and Jezebel should have been no surprise to anyone then and should be of no surprise to us today.
Depression and famine level the playing fields, the weak get weaker, and the rich get richer and those in between either use their faith and wisdom to work for them or they buckle under the pressure and will spiritually or physically die.
