We Want To Hear From YOU!
This morning I am being led by the Holy Spirit to pray for our nation, A nation that has been divided for too long, a nation about to enter into another political climate unchanged, an unrepentant.
A nation that according to the Word of God is destined for desolation because of the magnitude of the division.
We have become more committed to political agendas than to the Word and Ways of God.
My prayer this morning is that God would help us, and deliver us for we have gone so far as to redefine what it is to be Christian based on political and personal agendas that want to exalt the Word of God, without the spirit of God.
Lord, rejuvenate the hearts and souls of true believers, standing committed to God while understanding, embracing, and serving You in Spirit and Truth.
Conversations in this country lean more toward whether one is a democrat or republican than toward the well-being of the lives and souls of our citizens........

When we talk about Mary we pay homage to the woman who gave birth to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the one who came as the Messiah to extend to us access to salvation.
What we often take for granted is who Mary was as a believer and the evidence of who Mary was as a woman of God before becoming pregnant.
Mary was committed and faithful to God and it showed apparent as the angel declared that God had blessed her.
But the scripture said Mary was startled, even a little afraid by the presence of the angel.
I imagine Mary to be a woman who knew scripture so she knew the story of an angel coming to Lot to forewarn him to leave the city before God annihilated it. She likely also knew the story of the angel coming to Daniel with an answer from God concerning his prayers.
But the angel took the time to reiterate that God had shown her grace, assuring her that his presence was nothing for her to be afraid of.
As the angel told her about the will and plans of God. Mary was inquisitive when she was told how she would be used to bring forth the son of God, she had no doubt this was a God thing and she was fully engaged and onboard.
Despite, the rough road she knew she would have to bear, despite the oncoming discomfort, inconveniences, and ridicule she would face, Mary still chose to proclaim that she was up for the challenge of God using Her for His glory
Let’s also be mindful that pregnancy in those days was not the easiest thing to bear. Women just imagine the painstaking chores women endured which required incredible physical demands, in high temperatures.
Remember there was no air conditioning, no comfortable mattress to give a woman’s back relief, not even gel insoles to soothe their feet.
Then to add insult to injury, imagine a time when having a child outside of marriage was not popular, as a matter of fact, it was considered disgraceful and immoral, a woman who found herself in such a state was referred to as a lot of non-Sunday school words if you know what I mean.
Notice in the opening passage of the story the angel says, “Greetings! The Lord has blessed you and is with you.” The angel proclamation indicated that at the time he came to her God had already blessed her, because God knew Mary’s heart.
And although Mary had the free will to deny to be used by God. God knew her character and her level of commitment, just like he knew Job’s heart.
And because of what He had already observed concerning her, He blessed her. In all honesty, she could have just dwelled in that blessed state and not taken on all the ridicule, gossip, and ugliness that would come with walking out the will of God.
But imagine Mary knowing all of this was ahead of her, not to mention the first point of ridicule would come from the man she loved and was engaged to marry. Mary committed herself to the will and plans of God despite what folks would say, despite what they would think, even if it meant Joseph would walk away. Mary's faithfulness to God became real when she spoke the words “I am the servant of the Lord. Let this happen to me as you say!”
Mary like each and every one of us today had access to free will, and the ability to guide her life according to her own will, her own desires, and her own plans, but despite the turbulent path ahead she chose to put the Kingdom of God first.

God brought to my remembrance how I prayed for Him to help me be able to simplify the answer to this teen’s question, and God answered my prayer.
But I didn’t understand why God was bringing this all to my remembrance now. As I traveled over these last few days, I began to understand, because I have been prompted to share this answer at least 6 times with skeptics, even believers, and ministers so they can be equipped to give clarity to one another.
You are probably wondering what the question was. The teen asked me, “how can we be sure that Jesus was God in flesh?”
If truth be told there are those who profess to be Christians, who say they believe, but in their heart of hearts they are not completely convinced and they certainly cannot explain their conviction in a manner that would provide clarity to a skeptic.
After praying for about 3 days asking God to help me provide the clarity this teenager needed to strengthen his faith in Jesus Christ, this is how our conversation went:
Jacob, I think I can give you the clarity you need regarding your question. Do you believe you are created in the image and likeness of God?
He responded, “yes”
My next question was do you believe you are greater than God?
He responded, “absolutely not”
I went on to ask, do you understand that the very essence of your being is composed of mind, spirit, and body?
His response was, “yes”.
I continued, so if you are composed of mind, spirit, and body and you were created in the image of God and you believe that you are NOT greater than God, then He must also at minimum possess the attributes you have.
Do you understand the head of God as it relates to the Holy Spirit which is the spirit of God?
Jacob said, “yes I got that”
So I began to pull it all together for Jacob with these words: Ok if we know God to have a mind and spirit, in order for the truth to be sustainable it has to be consistent. Because an inconsistent truth is a lie. In the consistency of who God is and with us being made in His image, God had to produce a body, a physical manifestation of Himself and that was Jesus Christ.
I explained that the validation of all truth is rooted in consistency. And told him this is why in In John 14:6, Jesus said “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
When he said I am the way, those words proclaim Him as God, for who can proclaim to be “the way” but God?
When Jesus uttered “and the truth”, he confirmed God’s consistency manifested in Him which confirms, “consistent truth”.
And the words “and the life”, is Jesus further validating who He was by proclaiming to be the source of all life.
It's in our clarity and conviction of who Jesus was that also provided the depth of the significance of Jesus’ resurrection, proving that God reigns over everything including death, which in turn gives us hope that whatever the world throws at us, with the spirit of God dwelling in our hearts we can endure anything, we can rise above anything, even when we’ve been counted out.
I urge everyone under the sound of my voice to Walk in the way of Christ, embracing truth, for it is only through Christ that life can sustain value and purpose.

When you research all other religions, you can compare beliefs traditions, doctrines, the do’s and the don’ts, but Christianity is the one religion that will always weigh a bit different because it upsets all religious apple carts because every aspect of Christianity points to the game-changing component absent from all other religions, and that is Jesus, The Christ.
No other religion has a leader who professes to be the way the truth and the life, no other religious leader has ever proclaimed to be the exclusive means by which one has access to God. Every other religious leader who has died is still laying in their grave, but Jesus Christ, rose from the dead and walked among the living with his resurrections changing the lives of so many to the point they were willing to endure ridicule, pain, suffering, crucifixion, and beheading before denouncing Jesus as the Son of God, who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless, life, was crucified, laid in the tomb for three days and rose from the dead.
The significance of proclaiming to be a believer, a Christian is because of who Jesus was and is. It’s because He had no sin nature because He was the living example of righteousness because when He rose from the dead, proved that unrighteousness will not overcome righteousness. When we proclaim to be Christians it's based on our commitment to the Word of God, the purpose of God and the depth of God's love shone through Jesus, collaborative these elements of belief and commitment are the recipe for a religious doctrine that is unprecedented, and unable to be duplicated. Jesus is the game changer that validates, personifies, and seals Christianity.

Although our ex abused us, deceived us, cheated on us, disrespected us, stole from us, and blocked so many blessings from us, we seem to maintain an unexplainable loyalty to him that causes our thinking to stray, our words to go against the Word of God and our actions to degrade your current relationship with Christ.
We say we broke up with our ex but
We still dress to entice him
We still hang out in the places he used to take us, and then we act surprised when he shows ups
The only ones we claim as our closest friends are those who are also close friends with our ex with very few friends who are close to the one you are now in a relationship with.
We claim to love Jesus Christ, to be in a committed relationship with Him, but our ex keeps showing up and we keep letting him in, we keep entertaining him, and our quality time is still being spent with your ex.
We still enjoy the things our ex promotes, and his agendas, instead of spending quality time with Christ and magnifying our relationship with Him.
It’s funny in an everyday relationship scenario, if we were talking to a friend about our their current relationship and their consistent interaction with their EX, we would have no problem telling them “you are going to ruin your current relationship” And we would completely understand if who they were in a current relationship with just broke it off with them.
Oh but or the grace of God. In Joshua 24:19 the scripture tells us God is a jealous God. But although he is not pleased with us still being connected and engaging with our EX, He is not one who will renege on His Word, and He promised to never leave or forsake us.
And because of the depth of his love for us, an untainted pure love, he will make no attempt to force us to engage with or love Him. Because He is the epitome of love, He understands that sincere love cannot be forced. So, He will wait on us to really break it off with our EX and recognize and embrace His love.
Every relationship and every aspect of love hinges on the depth of trust. You can trust but not love, but a sincere love cannot exist without trust
The biggest mistake on our part is we allow our ex to continue to have access to our hearts, our souls, our actions, and reactions. We waste too much time with what does not have the capacity to love, renew, revive, or sanctify.
We allow our ex, remember, as professed believers that is Satan to still have so much access to us, not because we are docile enough to trust him, but because of familiarity.
As we engage and invest in our relationship with Jesus Christ we must remember Proverbs 3:5-7
Trust in the Lord with all thy heart; (if you love Him trust Him and only Him)
and lean not unto thy own understanding (for your own understanding will always find it easier to trust what is familiar).
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths (God’s love and intentions are clear, undeniable and because He knows all why would not acknowledge Him).
Be not wise in thy own eyes: reverence the Lord, and depart from evil (means let go completely of your ex, his ways, and his influences).
Let your ex know I am done with you, I am in a new sincere, and loving relationship with Jesus Christ, give me back the keys to my door, and don’t come around here anymore.

The Bible Has Always Been In Demand. Regardless of lingering opposition, disregard for scripture, and the lack of commitment to study from even amongst those who profess to be believers, there has always been and is a never-ending demand for the Bible.
Because we measure success and status by numbers, dollars, and cents, let’s review the numbers generated by The Holy Bible. The annual sales figures for the Bible average between $425 million and $650 million, repeatedly, year after year, it consistently dwarfs the sales of all other books. Because the Bible has always consistently been the bestselling book, it is no longer listed on the bestsellers list, as the “bestsellers” list is only interesting if the top spot is up for grabs, so the "real bestseller” has been indefinitely omitted from running.
The Guinness Book of Records reports as of 2021 between 5 and 7 billion Bibles have been printed since 1815. According to Words Rated, an average of 20 million Bibles are sold each year with 1.66 million bibles sold each month. 384,615 bibles sold per week. 54,945 bibles are sold each and every day.
Barna’s research indicates that 92% of American households have at least one Bible and on average each has three. And the very popular YouVersion Bible app has reported over 500 million bibles have been downloaded just on their app since 2016
The Bible continues to embark on annual increasing sales and distribution totals, without any coercion. No government has ever required anyone to buy, own, read or believe in the Bible. Unbelievers are free to disagree with the Bible publicly. They can swear at GOD, find fault with the Bible, disagree with those who believe it and debate the issues all without any legal ramifications. The Bible’s influence has always been implemented voluntarily.
The same can’t be said for Mao’s book or the Qur’an. Mao’s book is a book of quotations and statements from the speeches and writings of Mao Zedong, the former Chairman of the Communist Party of China. When this book came into print every home in China was legally required to have a copy and this regulation was enforced for many years. The penalty for not owning the book was severe and the Chinese population, being so large, accounts for several hundred million copies. The penalty for not owning a copy of Mao’s book was still not as severe as the penalty for owning a Bible. One book was banned, the other lawfully required, however, despite the ban, Bible distribution is now catching up with Mao’s books in China.
Like Mao’s book, the Qur’an’s popularity is also the result of enforcement policies. It is used profoundly in the educational systems of Muslim countries. Based on its teachings, many cultures are shaped. In Muslim-dominated areas, the Qur’an also influences many areas of public life: what people wear, what they eat, and how they interact socially and politically. Some countries host contests to see who can quote the Qur’an verbatim.
Christians in some Muslim countries are persecuted, beaten, and imprisoned regularly and conversion to Christianity is treated worse than murder. Amazingly enough, Mao's book of quotes and the Qur’an enjoy high print volumes due to political and cultural enforcements, and the Bible, which consistently, year after year, outsells any other book worldwide has never used force as a means of promotion.

Since biblical days, people have had their eyes set on a politician to be their Savior. In biblical times, they waged so much on the political aspects of a Savior that when the true Savior came, they didn’t even recognize him and ultimately crucified the very one who was ordained as their Savior.
Jesus did not fulfill, act or react according to what the people anticipated. See they were looking for an earthly king, not the ruler of a spiritual kingdom or even one more committed to spiritual righteousness.
They wanted a king, who would reign politically and fall in line with religiosity even if it were undergirded by hypocrisy just as long as this “Savior” supported their individual agendas.
Things haven’t changed much since biblical times, people are still looking for a political savior and their character does not have to align with the spiritual righteousness of the Kingdom of God, just as long as they are willing to stroke the egos of the people and fall in line with their agendas and economic goals of the masses.
Someone, please explain to me why people are more up in arms about our government going into the personal residence of a citizen to retrieve stolen top secret documents, that could compromise the safety of our entire nation than they are about the intentions of the person who had these documents in their possession.
When someone intentionally takes what does not rightfully belong to them, they are a thief. I am sure we can all agree on the definition of a thief. Well, position and status don’t change the definition of a thief.
The Bible is clear in conveying to us the intentions of a thief in John 10:10 “A thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy” The Word of God is so prevalent because it shows no partiality, it doesn’t change based on individuals, circumstances, or opinions, as truth is just truth. Stole document, confirmed, now the next question based on biblical principles is what was to be killed and destroyed and politically speaking what impact were these actions to have on our nation.
If you want to assure that you are on the right side of righteousness, ask yourself this, “if God, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords were to manifest Himself physically before me, would I stand on this decision to support who I am supporting, their character, their actions, and their reactions?”
Always be mindful, that God may not be physically present before you, but He is always there with you and He sees, hears, and knows your heart.
