Erick Stakelbeck is Director of Christians United for Israel’s CUFI Watchman Project and host of “The Watchman” program on TBN. He has spent nearly two decades years covering the Middle East and national security issues in-depth: traveling to the region, interviewing world leaders and wanted terrorists, and highlighting the shared threats to America and Israel. A 2013 Jerusalem Post profile stated that, “Within Evangelical Christian circles, Stakelbeck is considered by many to be the leading authority” on the issues of national security and the Middle East. In February 2016, Stakelbeck launched “The Watchman” show on TBN, joining the world’s largest Christian television network with America’s largest pro-Israel organization, CUFI, to produce a hard-hitting weekly, 30-minute newsmagazine focusing on Israel, America and the Middle East. The program airs every Thursday night at 11:30 pm EST on TBN and is seen worldwide. From 2005 to 2015, Stakelbeck was a correspondent, host and terrorism analyst for CBN News, covering the global war on terror, U.S. national security, the Middle East and the growth of radical Islam at home and abroad for the network’s Washington, D.C. bureau. Stakelbeck’s first book, “The Terrorist Next Door: How the Government is Deceiving You About the Islamist Threat,” was released in 2011 by Regnery Publishing to major acclaim. His second book was released by Regnery in July 2013. The “Brotherhood: America’s Next Great Enemy” warns about the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood and the global Islamist movement. His third book with Regnery, “ISIS Exposed: Beheadings, Slavery and the Hellish Reality of Radical Islam,” was released on March 9, 2015. Stakelbeck is a regular commentator on leading national television and radio programs and a frequent guest on Fox News. His appearances include: The O’Reilly Factor, Hannity, Your World with Neil Cavuto, Fox and Friends, Justice with Judge Jeanine, Huckabee, America’s Newsroom, CNN Newsroom, BBC, Al Hurra and many others. Stakelbeck has also contributed to Glenn Beck’s The Blaze TV, guest hosting the Glenn Beck Program and providing in-studio analysis and investigative reports. From 2003 to 2005, Stakelbeck worked as a senior writer and analyst at the Investigative Project on Terrorism, a counterterrorism think tank founded by terrorism expert Steven Emerson. His articles on Islamic extremism, global terrorism and national security appeared in the Wall Street Journal Europe, Weekly Standard, Washington Times, New York Post, Jerusalem Post, and National Review Online, among other publications. Stakelbeck regularly speaks to audiences around the country on terrorism and Middle East-related issues, including at events for Christians United for Israel (CUFI), the annual National Religious Broadcasters Convention (NRB), ACT for America, the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), the Israel Allies Foundation (IAF), the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA), the Values Voter Summit and the Faith and Freedom Coalition, among others. The Battle Rounds for Season 23 of The Voice are under way! As always, Premiere Networks, in conjunction with NBC, is bringing you exclusive interview opportunities with the Voice winners as they get set for the next battle The Voice is one of America's most popular shows, airing Monday and Tuesday. Sign up for an interview (or a series of interviews) with one of these up-and-coming stars as they sing their way to a recording contract

    ABOUT THE VOICE

The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns with the strongest vocalists from across the country invited to compete in the show's newest season, which premieres March 6. Grammy Award-winning hip-hop star Chance the Rapper and platinum-selling singer-songwriter Niall Horan claim their red chairs alongside returning coaches Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon. The competition is tougher than ever as Shelton goes for the win in his final season. The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows. During the Blind Auditions, the decisions from the coaches are based solely on voice and not looks. The coaches hear the artists perform but they don't get to see them, thanks to rotating chairs. If a coach is impressed by the artist's voice, they push a button to select the artist for their team. At this point, the coach's chair will swivel so that they can face the artist they selected. If more than one coach pushes the button, the power then shifts to the artist to choose which coach they want to work with. If no one pushes their button, the artist is eliminated from the competition. The artists' family and friends watch their Blind Auditions from side stage with host Carson Daly, cheering on their loved ones and hoping for a coveted chair turn. Returning this season is the block, which adds another layer of coach competition during the Blind Auditions. The coach chairs each have an extra set of buttons with the other three coaches' names on them, which prevents a coach from adding a new artist to his or her team. The coaches can use their block buttons only on one artist for the entire first round of the competition. The blocked coach only discovers they are blocked if they press their button, and though their chair will still turn, their lane lights up with "BLOCKED." If the coach doesn't press their button, the block is still available for another audition. Once the teams are set, the battle is on. The coaches dedicate themselves to developing their team of artists, giving them advice and sharing the secrets of their success. During the Battle Rounds, the coaches will pit two of their own team members against each other to sing the same song together. The artists are vying for their coach's confidence and decision to take them to the next round. After each vocal battle, the coach must choose which of his or her artists will advance to the next round of competition. This season during Battles, the all-new Playoff Pass is at stake. The Playoff Pass will allow both artists in a battle to advance while the Playoff Pass winner gets a huge advantage by skipping the Knockout Rounds and advancing straight to Playoffs, taking them one step closer to Lives. Each coach will have one Playoff Pass to use as well as one steal in the Battles. With the steals in play, a losing artist is available for the other coaches to save and bring onto their own team. Artists who won their battle or were stolen by another coach will advance to the Knockouts, while the four artists with a Playoff Pass will advance straight to Playoffs. In the Knockouts, the artists will be paired against another teammate, but this time they will perform individually while their direct competitors watch and wait. To prepare for this high-pressure competition, the coaches enlist legendary country music icon Reba McEntire as the Mega Mentor to advise all of the artists competing in the Knockouts. Having served as Battle advisor to Team Blake during the show's inaugural season, it's most fitting Reba returns as Blake coaches his final group of artists and bids farewell to the competition. The coaches will choose the winner of each Knockout, and the artist not selected will be available to be stolen by another coach. The pressure is on as each coach will only have one steal in the Knockouts. The Playoffs are back, further bolstering the competition following the Knockouts. The 20 remaining artists hold nothing back and tough decisions are made when each coach can only advance two artists to the live semifinals. The stakes are even higher for the artists because there are no steals available. Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other during live broadcasts. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artist. The live semifinals will be more dramatic than ever because the Top 8 artists will all perform live for a real-time vote, and results will be revealed at the end of that show. After the real-time votes are counted that night, the five artists with the most votes will be revealed and advance to the following week's finale. Those with the lowest number of votes will be sent home. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and will receive the grand prize of a recording contract. "The Voice" is a presentation of MGM Television, Warner Bros. Unscripted Television in association with Warner Horizon, and ITV Studios The Voice USA, Inc. The series was created by John de Mol, who serves as an executive producer along with Mark Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Amanda Zucker, Kyra Thompson and Adam H. Sher

Jerome got his first taste of music at a young age when his church’s music director pushed him to direct a show at a nursing home. From there, he followed in his parent’s musical footsteps and started singing in church. Jerome’s parents are both teachers, so they made sure Jerome focused on his academics. Now a sophomore in college, Jerome is a pre-dentistry major and has big dreams of becoming the “singing dentist.” Pursuing dentistry leaves little time for Jerome to focus on music, but he does manage to make time for leading worship at a church. “The Voice” is his opportunity to see if he has what it takes to make a career out of music and follow his dream.

  • Shirley Novack - Historical fiction author - The Story Of...
The Story Of..., could be the story of so many people that emigrated to America from Eastern Europe. My character, Jacob, spent three years in a Polish Brothel until his father sent for him from America. While in the brothel, he was raped by a Polish Soldier who he comes face to face with many years later in America. Although the book is fiction, much of this is true with other truths filtered in. This was based on my father's life.

Sher

D.Smooth was about to take the stage at the Season 21 Blind Auditions when the teams filled up. Looking back, he’s grateful he didn’t get a chance to perform at a time when he wasn’t giving 100% to music. D.Smooth grew up in the rural countryside and his entire extended family all lived on the same street. He feels blessed that his family was close by to keep him grounded. In high school, D.Smooth was a singer in the jazz band, but even though he loved music, his main focus was sports. Now that he’s back at “The Voice,” he’s ready to give music his all.
