Paul encouraged the Saints to rejoice—even though they faced difficult trials and Paul himself was in prison. They will also learn : My faith should be “rooted” in Jesus Christ. If the children build their lives and their faith on the Savior, they will be able to withstand the storms of life. If I have faith in Jesus Christ, I can be happy even during hard times. Paul suffered many trials, but he was happy because he had faith in Jesus Christ. Paul’s faith in Jesus Christ made it possible for him to rejoice. Abinadi and King Noah: “A Light … That Can Never Be Darkened” Mosiah 11–17

This week we are studying “In the Strength of the Lord”
Mosiah 7–10 (Zeniff, Ammon, King Limhi) We learn about a man named zeniff who decided to take a group of people and leave Zarahemla and head back to the land of Nephi. Well now it’s been like 80 years and no one has heard from Zeniff’s group and Ammon wants to go check on them. When he finds them, they are led by a man name King Limhi and the people are in bondage to the Lamanites. King Limhi found plates in a land of bones. He is happy to learn along Mosiah is a prophet. The children will learn: When I am weak, the Lord can strengthen me. God has given us prophets, seers, and revelators.
