I've been thinking of taking my podcast to a new direction and talk about topics that are burning inside of me and we all experience and think about every day.

The difference is that this time I don't plan what I want to talk about, I don't research the subject in advance and memorize it to sound more professional - I talk without limits and share stories from my personal life and my input on the subject.

I'm speaking while making mistakes in English - and for the first time I'm actually ok with that! I've been going through a long journey to be in a place where I accept the way I speak but at the same time believe in myself and the message I'd like to deliver.

It’s 2021 and women are still underpaid compared to men. There are still unconscious bias that plays a significant role as barriers to women’s career advancement by disadvantaging them for career opportunities, promotions and pay raises.
So, why does the gender pay gap still remain an issue in the workforce?

In this episode, I’ll explore the gender wage gap in general and how history has impacted this gap. I’ll also talk about the reason why it still exists nowadays by showing both points of view of women and men, and discuss how it can be changed.

We are so dependent on our phones that we often joke about being addicted. However, what many people still fail to realize is that phone addiction is actually a very real problem. Most people are not even aware of it, whether because they don't want to admit it or because it has become an integral part of their lives that they use it unconsciously.

 Beauty. This is something we all want to achieve. We become obsessed with the beauty ideal. It’s about a culture “saturated with the perfect,” in which women are taught to seek an impossible physical ideal, and men to worship it. Even throughout history, beauty has always been important, and the question of what to consider "beauty" has changed drastically over the years.

In this episode, I’ll explore how beauty has changed during history and the unattainable standards of beauty for today's women. I’ll also talk about how the pursuit of being beautiful has harmful effects on women, and the reaction of two women who came against the beauty standards of society.

Many of us don’t know what happens to the products we recycle after we put them on the curb, and some of us still wonder whether it's worth our time and effort to recycle. But the truth is, that this issue is very complex, and many experts still can't agree if recycling helps the planet. 

In this episode, I’ll explore if recycling is beneficial to the environment, or the opposite, maybe causes more harm than good, and which products should and shouldn’t be recycled, and what is the difference between the people who recycle and the ones who don’t.

On an average day in the United States, more than 100 people are killed by guns. Violence has become the story on the evening news, and people feel the need to protect themselves. Gun control is one of the most divisive issues in American politics, and the question of gun ownership makes us safer and stops more crimes from occurring in many debates. 

In this episode, I’ll explore one of the most divisive issues in American society – the debate over gun control, by presenting the view of the opponents and supporters of gun control. I’ll talk about a mass shooting and how a student-led demonstration working to prevent gun violence in the United States.
