We're back after our well-explained hiatus. In this episode, as in all episodes before, we review things. This time the things are the Internet Archive and Melissa's pink robe.

Ever wish you could skip your youth and get right to the good stuff: C cup bras, fancy parties, professional sabotage, umbrella penises, and demanding to look at Mark Ruffalo's tongue? Me neither, being 30 is completely average.

Sometimes love is where you least expect to find it, like in a children's book store, or on the internet, or in New York in autumn, or in the photo of your dead gal pal you keep dutifully in the locket around your neck, or in the inherited wealth of the man gleefully destroying your livelihood, or in the satisfaction you feel at being able to recall an author's name more quickly than a minimum wage employee. It is not found, however, anywhere in this movie.

This week we take a look at this classic rural romance and discuss how to love someone even when their legs don't go all the way up, how to kiss someone even when they are Kevin Bacon, and how to remove your pants when your feet are stuck in glue. Special appearances by Melissa's cat, an upset tummy, and existential dread.

The world's ONLY official Danny Devito fancast is back and this time we're dipping our troll feet into the warm waters of our beloved's directorial triumph: a movie for children about a mutant hero who studies math to fight cops. We did our best to convey the film's zest and excitement with our own violent enthusiasm.

It only took a global pandemic to get us back in the studio (our respective homes), making that high-end (garbage) film analysis (discussion of our favourite cheeses) that you crave. In this episode we discuss the movie Twins (1988): its feminist subtext, the profound class critique embedded in its haphazard (to the layman) plot, and what Denny Devito in a tunnel can teach us about caring for ourselves and one another in a time like this. Also tweet at us if you think Barbara should get a proper mic.

In this episode we discuss our two most hated movie tropes: the All A Dream and transphobia. We also talk about how all Tesla owners are cowards and assholes as well as try to get my cat to commit to co-hosting or get the hell out.
Any doctors listening are welcome to help diagnose why Melissa has a cough 6 months out of the year.

In this episode we discuss Canada's illegal invasion of a sovereign nation, eating disorders, people who pronounce Alicia "Ali-see-ah", and Gene Wilder's dick. Tweet at us to let us know which topic was most disturbing to you, personally. We also bump the mic a bunch, let us know if that's a sound you would enjoy more of in future episodes.

This episode we try out a new venue, complete with it's own blanket fort, drinks and menace. Listen to Barbara and Melissa try to ward off cat attacks while also adjusting to a different space AND try to remember what they're doing. I think we were talking about a movie.
