  • Wade in the Water
In yet another chapter of the Michael Jackson story, the most recent lawsuit attempt by Wade Robson against Michael’s estate was thrown out. • Police Brutality: For Example
Verdict in the Derek Chauvin case has been released! I was in a Clubhouse room listening live and sticking around to listen to opinions and reactions afterwards. Interesting to say the least, informative and engaging. Here are my thoughts on the case and the verdict, and my thoughts on when, how and where the actual change will come about

  • The Color Purple
What happens when you add black to the blue? A whole lot of police brutality. It’s too much. The murder of Daunte Wright tells me one thing; they couldn’t wait for things to open up, to resume killing us again. Kim Potter claim she thought it was her taser. After 20+ years, you don’t know the difference by touch? Not even when the weapon is infront of your eyes in your hand? Miss me with B.S. y’all. Third publicized case of a black man murdered by the hands of police in Minnesota. Meanwhile they let a whole white man flee from a barricade untazed and unfazed.

  • The Life and Legacy of DMX
The world and culture has suffered a tremendous loss. We lost DMX, one of the most influential artists in recent memory. Although his ascent was brief, his impact is still as relevant. In this episode, I discuss his life, career and moreover, his portrayals in the media in an all too familiar theme of media bias with narratives when it comes to the portrayal of black men. Also I discuss the realities of relationships, both personal and business as it relates to the concept of reciprocity.

  • VERZUZ: EWF & The Isley Brothers
If you haven’t already figured it out, I’m a huge music fan. So for me, last night’s episode of a year long season of Verzuz battles, was indeed special and iconic to me. Credit goes to Timbaland and Swizz Beatz for bringing together two of the biggest and longest lasting black musical groups for Easter Sunday; Earth, Wind & Fire and The Isley Brothers. I cried, I sang, I filled with joy to the music that was played and to the live performances of each group as the music played. This episode I explain the significance of each act, the importance and the respect to them, highlights of last night’s event, and what Verzuz is and means to the culture, especially during a pandemic. I also mention battles of the past and ones I would love to see in the future.

  • The Boy’s Club II
We unpacked so much in the first part that we had to do a second part.
