Coming off the heels of watching The Fresh Prince reunion show, I wanted to discuss not only the importance of the show and the reunion but also the nuances and perceptions I picked up around the 10 minute interaction between Will Smith and Janet Hubert and it’s importance and the themes of treatment of black women in society and the importance of forgiveness. I further the themes of race and debt into the discussion and outrage from the second round of conversations about the idea of cancelling student debt and my perspective and position on it.

As I come to terms with my mom’s explosive health news, I reflect on life experiences with her and truly value life and what influences she had on me coming up behind her. I also look at how fast life comes and changes and has done so this year.

Coming off the end of the Presidential debates for 2020, I wanted to share my opinions on not only the performance of Biden and 45 in the final debate but also my views on the issues presented before them and how important it is to me where they are on issues that represent me and the health of society as a whole.

I just watched the VP debate in full, and I have some points to make in reference to the issues that are most important as a black bi male that has been married to a man, lived and served during DADT and being a black life.
