I Seem Fun Reboot 2026

This is the second episode in the 8-week series of special listener email episodes only in January and February 2016 - known as “The Grateful Eight”.  In this episode Jen reads emails from listeners who have questions about if comedians are lonely, how to not talk to someone anymore, and how to make kid’s pretend flight authentic.  Listener emails also include stories of a no-talking meditation retreat, and a listener passed on that her doctor friend is worried about Jen’s high risk for cancer.

Jen sits in bed to talk to you about her psychic dreams, an upcoming visit with a medium, the embarrassment of calling herself a “humorist” when she was younger,  people who stress out about answering texts, people not using headphones with iPads, the joys of renting, fire alarms, roof leaks, and a story of unlikely best friends.

This is the first episode in the 8-week series of special listener email episodes only in January and February 2016 - known as “The Grateful Eight”.  In this episode Jen reads emails from listeners who have questions about crazy hair colors, favorite drink recipes, how to suck it up on holidays when you don’t have kids.  The I Seem Fun pilot checks in and Jen explains to listeners why she doesn’t want to know if you would marry her.

Jen sits at home to talk to you about her favorite things but unlike Oprah can’t give any to you, then she drops that and discusses how to travel right from TSA pre-check to white noise machines, and then talks about the Malaysian Airline flying the wrong way, comets may or may not destroy earth soon or never, and how we created a lot of junk in space.

Jen sits at home to talk to you about her cold, the madness that is Elf on a Shelf, campaign donations, a certain news-channel is ruining people’s Christmas, and couples on planes acting like it’s Paris on a spring day.

Jen sits at home on the couch to record an episode after one got deleted.  She talks about overhearing dudes bonding, not knowing how to use a wine cork, a guy who usually flies first class, why Christmas should be a good time for the depressed, and why is Christmas turning into Valentine’s Day?

ISF ANNOUNCEMENT for 12/04/15

Jen sits in bed to talk to you about creativity, how to get started in anything, how nothing is ever finished, figuring out why people laugh, and we re-visit the very first episode of I Seem Fun in the spirit of looking back on just starting something and letting it take on a life of it’s own. Happy Thanksgiving, Just Keep Livin’.

Jen sits in bed, to talk to you about how she’s neglected her listener emails to the I Seem Fun Gmail Account. Topics covered from listeners are outrage culture, harassment, organizing in autumn, a new sociologist I Seem Fun helper, a guy who isn’t a stalker but seems like one, and where have the pilots been?
