I was looking for an understanding of Putin as a man and his politics as this title suggests. She spends most of the book demonizing him, sometimes with little evidence. I lost count of the number of times Putin is called a thug. Okay , he is a thug, why does that work?
Nevertheless , a good introduction to Putin's politics. Looking for a better book.
