Connor Davis is incredibly fascinating, authentic and intelligent. His passion for his work is rooted in his family's journey in finding health solutions to seemingly unsolvable illness, and his path is one filled with a deep love of learning and understanding. All his streams of income have borne fruit as a result of his genuine passion for his work and his love for what he does. I thoroughly enjoyed chatting to him and was blown away by his depth of knowledge. Interviewing Pippa really opened my eyes to the power of appearance and how looking good really does change a person's perception of themselves. Pippa works one-on-one with women (and some men) daily in helping them find their true style that works for them and their bodies. She also runs clothing pop-up shops and writes. I loved her honesty as a mom of three and living the juggle between kids and work. Grab a cuppa and listen into our chat - it will definitely provide insight into how to find your passion and build a business around that!

Interviewing Liza, I felt an instant connection, as we both come from the medical industry and marketing and have branched out into many other streams of income. Unfortunately I can't sing, but Liza can and she creates music with her husband while she runs a strategic marketing business, as well as a healing business and a few online stores! She has fantastic insight into setting your intention and living your dream! Grab a cuppa and listen in!

In this interview I chat to Andrea Hoffman about her business Evolve Unlimited, a design and digital agency and how she got started. So why this podcast? And why me?
At the start of lockdown in South Africa, I had the opportunity to think hard about what I love and what I could help fellow South Africans with. What am I good at and what am I passionate about? I bashed my head against the wall for a few days, figuratively and woke up one morning with the words – ‘I work for me’ in my head. As though they had been planted in my brain, waiting for some watering in order to start growing. I knew instantly what it meant.
I've worked for myself for over 12 years and I still do (sometimes I'm not sure how!), and in this new reality we find ourselves, people who don't work for themselves, or who don't have multiple streams of income may find themselves struggling to stay financially afloat. The idea of this podcast is to help people look beyond a 9-5 job or a single income stream as a form of employment. By chatting to people who work 'differently' I think we can all learn how to work for ourselves and develop interesting ways of creating work for ourselves in a new world.
So, I hope you will join me in hearing what these businesses and self-starters are all about, what insights they can share and hopefully inspire you to run your own businesses, so that you can work for you, and enjoy your life as you’d like to.
