IA MIX SERIES

INTERVIEW > inverted-audio.com/mix/solpara

@solpara drops the hammer down in particularly heavy fashion, showing the most muscular facet of his persona up until you've learnt your lesson. Let go of your beach towel, sunglasses and lotion, it's time to drape in black and stick your head into the squawker.

INTERVIEW > inverted-audio.com/mix/alessandro-adriani

We had the rare opportunity to catch up with Italian artist and label boss @alessandro-adriani-mannequinrecords and delve further into his aims and aspirations for Mannequin Records. His mix delivery is unlike anything we've heard from him before and is comprised of edits from his collection of 7''s, resurfaced Italo and minimal synth sounds from the 1980's.

INTERVIEW > inverted-audio.com/mix/natural-electronic-system

Ahead of their performance at Paral·lel Festival 2018 we caught up with @naturalelectronicsystem to find out more about their roots, collaboration with fellow Italian producer Neel and their relationship with the @paral-lel-festival crew.

INTERVIEW > inverted-audio.com/mix/semtek

With @dontbeafraid setting benchmarks and then successively smashing them, Inverted Audio was presented with the chance to host a mix from B.D.A. label boss Benjamin Roth aka @semtek. Featuring some of his favourite oddball UK techno releases from the past alongside music from the labels that he's currently into, this mix is a verdant exploration into Semtek's musical taste.

INTERVIEW > inverted-audio.com/mix/jonas-yamer

We sat down with @jonas-yamer to discuss the origins of his love for electronic music, eclecticism and the ins and outs of his imprint, @moltenmoods. Stretch a bit, set your speakers to full blast and fire away.

INTERVIEW > inverted-audio.com/mix/phuong-dan

Clocking in with one of his idiosyncratic boundary-pushing sets, Dan delivers a finespun piece of intricate and hallucinogenic ambience-scaping where Gamelan drums rub shoulders with shadowy drones and left-of-centre techno rhythms. Air is heavy, and oxygen has become a rare commodity; molten motherboards and male jacks mate in the stifling atmosphere of a Berlinese monsoon night, giving glass and concrete-contoured urban sprawls a spiritual high kiss of life - resulting in the kind of unforgettable sonic odyssey you'll have a hard time not returning to. Yes, we dare you.

Romania's finest Detroit-repping firebug @andrewredhand steps up in our mix series with a laser-guided suite of propulsive uptempo hybrids and high-octane, 303-laden bracers; raising his glass to UR and cronies with one hand as he drops the hammer with the other.
