IA MIX SERIES

INTERVIEW > inverted-audio.com/mix/rivet

We are more than proud to welcome @rivetadam to the fold with a special recreation of the best of his three sets at this year's edition of Intonal Festival - a jagged ride across varied sonic territories, from EBM to no wave, through Italo and industrial.

INTERVIEW > inverted-audio.com/mix/patricia

Electronica-infused modular techno rubbing off onto post-industrial ambient upholstery, Ravitz's music is essentially alien and intrepidly unpigeonholeable to the bone. Patrica steps up to provide an ultra rare live recording taken from his performance at the debut edition of Bucharest's Automata Festival - a masterclass of ultra-sensory techno grooves and playful hardware juggling.

INTERVIEW > inverted-audio.com/mix/jensen-interceptor-sync-24

@jensen-interceptor and UK electro maestro @sync24music team up to provide us with a special all-acid mix drinking to the timeless source of inspiration that is Roland's 1982-born bass synth, aka the legendary TB-303. Buckle up and get ready for an insane ride, this one's going to pin you to the seat from start to finish.

INTERVIEW > inverted-audio.com/mix/beta-librae

Expert trader of vaporous house textures, lo-lidded dubs and carefully engineered tech wares, Beta Librae has forged a solid reputation as a much dextrous producer and shape-shifting groove manipulator. In addition to dishing out an hour-and-a-half of her bewitching floor-destroying skills, @blibrae took the time to answer a few questions. Lock in you’re in for a chirpy treat.

INTERVIEW > inverted-audio.com/mix/cooper-saver

@coopersaver shows the width of his mixing savoir faire, adroitly manoeuvring in between the lines - from stealth late-nighters to old-school house shufflers, through breaksy electroid eruptions, tribal rhythms and laid-back vintage acideries.

INTERVIEW > inverted-audio.com/mix/levon-vincent

When it came to choosing an artist for our 300th podcast, one that would encapsulate the qualities and values we've been looking to share since Inverted Audio was established, the grooves of @levonvincent have been with us since day dot.

Clocking in with a seriously infectious treat of sturdy grooves, feeling chords and tape-echoed goodies, Levon takes us for a much delightful trip down memory lane, deftly manoeuvring betwixt jacking Chicagoan house rhythms, minimalistic tech pulsations and infectious disco meanders. What else could we have possibly asked for? Levon Vincent at the controls, we hope you enjoy the ride.

INTERVIEW > inverted-audio.com/mix/e-talking

Packed with the kind of pacey acid swing and hi-energy tribal vibrations that made the 90s rave sound an endless source of inspiration for contemporary producers and DJs, @e_talking debut IA mix makes for a tirelessly impressive hour-long artistic manifesto that keeps on giving, bar after bar, up until the light goes back on and the cleaning staff picks up the torch. An end-to-end banging masterclass.

INTERVIEW + TRACKLIST > inverted-audio.com/mix/reza-athar

@rezaathar serves up a polyamorous blender of styles and tempo, steering far, far away from the no-nonsense 4/4 galaxy to settle halfway guitar-strewn psychedelia, kosmische-informed keyboard motifs, tribal jams and cross-pollinated ’80s synth-pop and exotica hybrids.

INTERVIEW > inverted-audio.com/mix/eszaid

Following the release of his second album 'Eurosouvenir' @collapsing-market, it is our great pleasure to welcome Eszaid to our mix series, as he steps up with over an hour-long of harsh dungeon beats, jagged anti-techno and so-called leftfield swerves.

INTERVIEW > inverted-audio.com/mix/chafik-chennouf

Chafik Chennouf heads up the uncompromising @leylarecords and straddles the increasingly familiar verticals of DJ, producer and label owner. An approach that we could all learn from in 2019. Of course, music paints a million words, so we took the opportunity to draft in Chafik to provide a mix to showcase his sound and share a rare selection of words.
