Mr. Ian Sheard is a co-owner of SEAmagine Hydrospace Corporation and has been Chief Engineer and Designer since 1995, the inception of the company. Over the last 25 years Mr. Sheard has championed the development of SEAmagine’s submersible technology and his expertise has changed the face of the submersible industry. SEAmagine pioneered the positive buoyancy concept that all small submersible use today and designed for near 360-degree visibility for pilot and passengers. Mr. Sheard’s engineering prowess enabled these visions to become reality. Mr. Sheard is the author and co-author of a number of SEAmagine’s patents and he has been key in all areas regarding the company’s prototype development, engineering design, manufacturing, and regulatory approval of the company’s submersibles.
