Today’s guest is Alex Evangelista, a devoted follower of Jesus Christ who has been walking faithfully with the Lord for many years. But Alex’s journey didn’t start there. He spent a significant part of his life involved in gang activity, cycling in and out of jail and prison. Even in the midst of darkness, seeds of truth and hope were being planted in his life. Ultimately, God stepped in and began to convict Alex’s heart, leading him away from destruction and into a powerful relationship with Jesus.

Today, I’m joined by Jay Martinez, a man whose life is a walking testimony. Jay was once deeply involved in the streets. He was  part of a street gang, a shot caller in a prison gang, and helped sell drugs with a cartel. His life was a cycle of jail, prison, and chaos. He was trapped in darkness. But in the middle of the mess, Jay realized something had to change. He knew only Jesus could turn his life around. So he surrendered. Fully and completely. to Christ.

But his journey didn’t start here. Before he found Christ, John was completely lost. He lived as an active gang member and spent years in and out of prison, trapped in a cycle of violence and destruction. At one point, he was even shot in the head. Today, I’m joined by Joey Swisher. Joey grew up in a community heavily impacted by gang activity. During his early years, he was frequently involved in physical altercations. Some of these confrontations escalated into dangerous shootouts. Tragically, one of these incidents resulted in the death of Joey’s closest friend. Overcome with grief and anger, Joey pursued a path of vengeance for an extended period of time. It was only through the redemptive power of Jesus Christ that he was set free from his rage, drugs, and alcohol.

Cassie opens up about her early life battles, the pain, the brokenness, and how it led her down a dark path of using drugs and alcohol. For years, she drifted in and out of church, searching for truth but never fully committing. Everything changed when she surrendered her whole heart to Jesus.  No turning back, no holding back. Today, I’m joined by Tracey Smith. Tracey currently leads a ministry called Cowboys & Outlaws Prison Ministry. She does outreach to those in prison and to people experiencing homelessness. But before she was called to this ministry, she had a past. Tracey grew up in a rough home, became addicted to drugs, and was jailed over 20 times. During her final time locked up, she surrendered her life to Jesus Christ.

Today, I have the privilege of being joined by Angie Rose. Angie is a Health Coach and a committed Ministry Leader, using her life and gifts to serve others in both body and spirit. However, before stepping into her calling, Angie like many of us had a past that brought her to the feet of Jesus. She struggled with drug addiction for many years, a battle that led to deeply painful consequences in her life. Angie doesn’t hold back in sharing her journey. Her honesty and vulnerability allow others to see the reality of redemption. Through the incredible grace of God, her life was completely transformed. She was saved, renewed, and set on a new path.
