On June 15, 2023, lawyers for convicted killer Lori Vallow Daybell argued for a new trial over what they say were confusing jury instructions, and "outside sources" influencing the jurors. In May, Lori was found guilty on six criminal counts, including the murders of her two children, Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow, and conspiracy in the death of her fifth husband’s first wife, Tammy Daybell. Her sentencing is scheduled for July 31, 2023, also in Fremont County, Idaho.
