Idalia has strengthened to hurricane force and is expected to hit Florida’s Gulf Coast tomorrow as a powerful Category 3 hurricane. On this day in 2005, Hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf Coast, resulting in 1,800 lives lost. Natural catastrophes like hurricanes starkly remind us of our mortality, and Christians and non-Christians often minimize the fact of death. So how can we best maximize our time on earth to God’s glory?
