What do most children want to be when they grow up?

I think most children start by fantasising about the jobs of the rich and famous, so, athletes or entertainers like singers or actors. These jobs must seem relatively easy and glamorous for children, and I feel this is why they are appealing. Children also often want to do jobs that are familiar to them, so we frequently hear that they want to be teachers, policemen or doctors. Many children are also drawn to the professions of their parents, and this continues even into adulthood. I imagine this is why we see lawyers who are the children of lawyers, and doctors who are the children of doctors, and so forth.

My ideal job is one that I am currently on the path to acquire. Having recently completed my bachelor’s degree, I am applying for further studies in the UK to gain specialisation in my field. The job I hope to obtain in the near future is that of corporate lawyer.
