If You Catch My Grift

Austin hops on the short bus to catch up and talk about his PR campaign for someone who's reputation is in the mud.

We talk about self-proclaimed prophet turned sovereign citizen Sean David Morton. This guy runs the gamut of conspiracy tropes from weather weapons to biblical numerology, and we only cover one appearance of many on Coast to Coast AM.

This episode is a spiritual successor to the last episode about Jordan Belfort. Instead, we talk about what is considered to be the biggest kleptocracy in modern history. A theft that lead to the development and production of the movie "The Wolf of Wall Street".

Everyone loves a comeback story, well this ain't one of them. We're talking about Martin Scorsese helped to promote an otherwise average con man into one of the biggest figures on the bro-finance internet. We're talking movies, penny stocks, fake apology tours, and, of course, crypto. That's right, it's Jordan Belfort.

It's the first show of 2023 and we've decided to check in on a few of the grifters we've covered to see what they were up to. We talk Andrew Tate (unfortunately) and Dave Miscavige. We also chat a little bit about New York congressman George Santos and try to find Charly a baby mama.

This is a big one. The whole reason there's an IYCMG is because of a podcast about Alex Jones. We're joined by Joe Sposto to talk about Alex's origin story and how he came to be liable for 1.5 billion dollars because he's an opportunist that can't keep his mouth shut.

You can follow Joe on Twitter at: @JoeSposto or check out his podcasts Long Box Heroes & At Odds With Wrestling
