"America's Doctor" is a pretty fitting moniker for Dr. Mehmet Oz. He started with some credibility, got a TV show where he hawked questionable medical advice, made millions, and is now running for the US Senate. The American Dream.

Is it financial brilliance, CTE, or just a case of smelling his own farts? Andrew Tate teaches a generation of fatherless young men how to make money while bilking them for out of a fortune. The origin story of the "King of Toxic Masculinity".

We're going back into the belly of the beast with our second installment of the Prison Industrial Complex mini-series. This time we're looking at food suppliers within the carceral system and how they put profits over providing nutrition to the people they are contracted to serve. Specifically, we're talking about the most significant player in the space: Aramark.

While most people associate Scientology with its founder, L Ron Hubbard, there's another guy who's ushered the organization into the modern age, refining the scheme to squeeze out the most money from its followers. That man is David Miscavige. We're joined by Gay Dave from Echoplex Media to discuss Miscavige's rise to power. (Also, what happened to his wife?)

If you watched daytime talk shows in the 90's and 2000's you know exactly who this is. The queen of the psychic grift, Sylvia Browne. This is not an episode about a sweet old lady, in fact Sylvia might be at the very center of the "If You Catch My Grift" cinematic universe.

Part one of a special non-weekly series about how the incarcerated and their families are preyed upon financially by for-profit companies. We take a deep dive into one of the companies that have made a lot of money directly from prisoners. We talk about the origins of the company and what they're up to today including the revelation of who actually owns the company (hint: it ain't good).
