In other news, Beyond Good & Evil 2 is still in development at Ubisoft, and has even added a writer from Assassin's Creed Shadows to its team. The game was first announced 18 (!) years ago, and Ubisoft has been drip-feeding updates every few years, with no release date in sight. Juan Vaca, story director for Gears of War: E-Day has been let go, just under a week before the game was set to launch on early access. And Josh Daniels, Cinematic Director for Halo, was promoted and then laid off in the same week.
