New season, new gimmick. But did it work?
To welcome the second season of your Ihaw-Ihaw podcast, we decided to do a live recording of the show. And guys, what a stressful idea. But (and that’s a big but) that doesn’t mean we didn’t deliver the information and fun that you’ve come to expect from us! Our topic could not have been more relatable to everyone – food, glorious food! Listen as we talk about the food that we like, miss and much more. We also announced the winner(s) of our online contest in this episode.
Can't get enough of Ihaw Ihaw Show? Us too! So we're releasing a bonus episode just for you, our dear Ihawaiians!
Actually, it's our first take on our season 1 ender (hahaha)! It's too shaky to be an actual episode (Reggie was in shack! lol) but too hilarious to not be shared. Have a listen to our uber fun category name with Truth or Dare punishment, and please support #JANKTerrorBill. Indeed, this is the best way to cap off our first season (or not! Please let us know by messaging us on our social media accounts).
See you in Season 2, Ihawaiians!
P.S. Happy Birthday to our prettiest Ihaw Ihaw Crew, Jill from Vancouver, Canada!
We did it!
When we first conceptualized the show, one of our goalposts was to make it through six episodes, which we've decided to be one season. And we did. Just. That.
So to celebrate, we played a game and had so much fun. Sorry, no moving abroad related content here, but we promise a lot of laughs. Did someone have to lick their foot? Lol.
We made it, and we couldn't have without our loyal Ihawaiians. Enjoy this one!
So what does Fresh off the Boat actually mean? Our fifth episode revolves around this idiom and its meaning, obvious and latent alike, for us overseas-based Filipinos. Should we cry foul when we are described as such? Or should we just embrace and put a positive spin on it?
We are so happy and honored to feature our second guest, Dax Carnay, who is a fresh-off-the-boat resident in Australia, and a college orgmate and friend of the Ihaw Ihaw Crew. We explored their one-of-a-kind journey from auditioning to be a Hong Kong Disneyland artist to eventually deciding to live in Melbourne with their long-term partner; without the chance of having a proper despedida gathering with friends and even family!
We also enjoyed their answers during the Fresh or Not segment. With all the crazy things happening around the world today, this episode will totally entertain and even offer a fresh perspective.
Health is Wealth may be a completely overused statement. But with how Covid-19 shookt the world, it is but fitting to revisit our take on the fundamental significance of health. In this episode, your Ihaw Ihaw crew is joined by an overseas Filipino health worker based all the way in Norway!!! That's right, another continent has been added to the coverage of Ihaw Ihaw!
Moving on but staying connected. Settling in and making new connections. In this episode, your Ihaw Ihaw crew discusses one of the most important aspects in a person's life -- connections. How does one balance building a new life but still managing their old one? How do they navigate the social aspect of their new world? Listen and find out how your dynamic trio are dealing (or not dealing ) with this, and you might even learn a thing or two about dating.

In this episode, the Ihaw-Ihaw Crew discussed about hacks for getting a job, migrating and leaving abroad. Basing from their personal experiences and learning, they shared top tips on getting an opportunity in another country, things to do before leaving the Philippines, settling in your new community, managing finances and living the life like a local.
