This week, I sit down with Jon Quest. I first learned who Jon was way back when I learned about the ‘Varsity Squad.’ Jon was the counterpart to Beedie in the well known and well respected rap duo. I used to see them at shows all the time killing shit. Jon and I have never met but I’ve known about him and his skills for a long time. He’s a respected emcee with a great talent for vivid storytelling through his lyrics. More recently, following along with his social media, I have seen Jon start down a more spiritual path with Reiki, meditation, and yoga. As I continue to get older, the idea of health and wellness take up more thought in my mind so I’m curious to hear about Jon’s spiritual journey and how he made his decision to embark on getting to know his inner self.
