This week, I sit down with Jake Miclot of True Believer Jiu Jitsu. Jake is the owner and instructor at True Believer. I first learned of him and his gym through some members of Code Orange training there and posting about it. I’ve always heard good things and been keeping tabs ever since. This week, we talk about growing up as a Hardcore kid and what music meant to him. We talk about Jake’s initiation to the sport, the drive he has to progress as far as he has, becoming a black belt, competing, devoting his life to Jiu Jitsu, and so much more. This was a really really great episode. I am happy to know Jake and I am excited to see where he goes from here.
