This week, I sit down with Jeremy & Angie Jones and they are the husband/wife team behind every Yinzer’s favorite travel blog, Discover The Burgh. They stop by the studio to talk about their goal of trying to “experience everything Southwest PA has to offer.” Whether you’re looking for a great place to eat or some details on a helicopter tour of Pittsburgh, they are trying to do it all and give us the some feedback about their experiences along the way. In today’s world, it’s difficult to wade through the saturation that any “lane” deals with. No matter if it’s a travel blog like theirs or a podcast like mine, they are a dime a dozen. The goal is to find someone who does it in a way that appeals to you and feels authentic while doing so. I think we can all agree that if you follow an “influencer,” we want the real feedback on their focus. If it’s great, it’s great, and if it’s questionable, it’s questionable. That being said, I enjoy their work and think they do a damn good job and that’s why I thought it was important to have them on to hear about how Discover The Burgh came to be. Enjoy the episode.
