This week, I sat down with Alyssa Fine to talk about bees. Bees and I don’t get along that well but I’ve always been curious about them. I was on the hunt for the right person, so I googled “Pittsburgh Honey” and to my surprise I came across Alyssa’s store, @pittsburghhoney. She looked super legit from the pictures on her profile so I knew she’d be the right person to talk to. I went to her shop to talk with her about how she got into this world, the process of starting your own hive, caring for your bee’s, harvesting honey, pests, the endless possibilities of things you can make using bees wax and honey, and literally so much more. This podcast is filled to the brim with knowledge. I seriously learned so much. Alyssa lives and breathes honey bees and she did a fantastic job of explaining the in’s and out’s of the bee business.
