It's goodbye for now! It's not goodbye forever, it's see you later.
To be clear, this is not an episode talking about how to handle breaking up before a wedding... although HOLY MOLY that could be a fascinating if traumatic episode.
No, wedding season is upon us once again, and I am now CRAZY BUSY with bookings for all the weddings I have to officiate in order to get all the amazing stories and ideas for this podcast! So this is a quick one to say goodbye, and I love you all so so much and thank you for listening for our SECOND YEAR.
Rest assured, we will be back with more later in the year, and there might even be a cheeky bonus episode somewhere in the middle if I'm feeling particularly saucy, but don't count on it.
HUGE BIG GINORMOUS SQUISHY LOVE from me, cousin Alex and producer Drew!
Have an amazing summer you wonderful things :)

In this episode, I wanted to take some time to talk about doing weddings abroad. They can be beautiful, special, MAGICAL, dare I say. Nothing makes your wedding an event like turning it into a mini holiday for everyone involved. BUT, there are obviously some drawbacks. So what should you do? Well I don't know, but I'm going to say words at you comprising my thoughts on the matter, and maybe it will be helpful if it's something that you're wanting to do for your wedding! What do you want, an expert?! Well I suppose I am a wedding professional, so actually, do listen to what I have to say. Or don't. I don't know. Or do I?

In this episode, I'm diving into the terrifying, disgusting, and possibly wholesome world of Stag Parties! Inspired by my chat with GoHen, I've got cousin Al here to talk about his experiences with stags, both organising and being the stag, so that us girls can get a little peek under the hood of just what goes on!

In this episode, I wanted to give you all of my very best tips and advice about wedding jitters! You know how it is, you just want to commit yourself to another person for the rest of your life, but then all of a sudden there are going to be fifty people there STARING AT YOU while you do it, and there are so many things that can go wrong! What if the food is bad? What if best man Derek has that one extra tequila that he and everyone else know he shouldn't have?
Well, stop that worrying, because it's all going to be fine, you're going to do great, and I'm going to tell you all about how to get you through those nerves!

In this episode you can catch the second half of my raucous, hilarious, but still very professional and informative chat with Ellie from GoHen. I really can't thank Ellie and the team enough for reaching out to ask for this interview, it was such fun to meet them, and if we do go out for team karaoke with them, we promise to record an impromptu episode on the spot for all of you to enjoy.
Thank you SO much to the folks from GoHen for joining us - the episode isn't sponsored, they haven't paid to be here, so we hope that says everything about how great we think their service is! Maybe we'll do another one on stag dos...

In this episode, I have had the incredible pleasure of interviewing Ellie. Now, besides Ellie basically now being my new best friend/potentially the only person with as filthy a mind as me, she also works for the fabulous Bath-based business GoHen, which, along with StagWeb has been providing hen and stag booking services for twenty two years.
So join us for the FIRST HALF of a bumper interview that has some fantastic pearls of wisdom about getting a hen planned, what activities to do when, what a strip dinner is, who I once christened "spotty botty", and a couple of jokes that Lottie (Go Hen's social media manager) and Producer Drew really should have stopped us making.
GoHen!
"At GoHen we love creating unforgettable hen memories. It's a great way to spend each day, and we've now helped arrange bubbly/dancing/hangovers for over 600,000 pre-wedding parties."

In this slightly late episode (producer Drew says sorry) I just had to tell you all about a wonderful wedding that I had the honour of working a couple of weeks ago for the lovely Bex and Pete. It's got everything, especially if you're someone who is thinking about writing their own vows and possibly has a bit of a comedic streak. Oh, ALSO, we've had an ANONYMOUS RSVP this week, it's all very James Bond.

In this episode, which we recorded back in November, I sat down with Jamie who does WONDERFUL work as a wedding videographer, with a 24 HOUR TURNAROUND! Honestly I just don't know how she does it. She's absolutely wonderful, and if you want some good ideas for how to get video for your wedding, you should check her out!

In this episode, I've got a storytime about a magical wedding I was very privileged to help with; the wedding of C & J. I'm keeping them anonymous, but what I am allowed to say is that I was very nervous about this one because there was a a proper celebrity there. And I mean like... you know who she is. She is a SCREAM. She's basically a FRIEND. And her name rhymes with Fourteney Fox.
It was Courteney Cox, ok?! How am I supposed to deal with this much pressure?! Well, listen and I'll tell you...
