Whew boy, y'all buckle up because this is the FIRST installment of the probably month long Zodiac deep dive. He is probably one of the most known serial killers and even though his victim count is not high nor did he have some major shock value to his crimes, it is intriguing because he got away with it for so long... still does to this day unfortunately. He taunted police by writing letters and ciphers. Did he have more crimes than the 5 linked to him? Were those 5 all really murdered by 1 person who named himself Zodiac? If you find your dog chewing on a bone, you better question where they got it. Thankfully Christine Ross did just that. She and her dog , Ruca were on a walk one night along the West Mesa in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2009 when Ruca found a bone. That bone was quickly identified as a human bone. When police started their investigation, they found the remains of 11 women and 1 fetus. All of these women had been missing since 2003-2004 and most were sex workers. Police to this day have not said what they believe has happened to these women and it is still unsolved to this day.

John List has left a messy crime scene, a 5 page confession letter to his pastor and attempted to leave without a trace of himself- including cutting himself out of every picture in the home. Little do Westfield Police officers know, List is on trains and buses headed towards Colorado to restart his life.
